Review of EEE Department of GIET University.

Placements: Placement in our course is too hard to get. 60 percent of students got placed in our course. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA, which is not relevant according to a few. Top companies that visit for placement include Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, etc. There is no chance to get an internship from our course. 50 percent of students got internships from our course last year in companies like Tech Mahindra and startups. Top role companies offered by students include lead, salesman, and product engineer.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and services are also fine. Infrastructure is best organised, and I think it is a good college in our state. All facilities required for students are available. There is Wi-Fi, labs for main practical sessions, and classrooms for study. In the library, all books are available. The hostel facility is also decent. All bed types are available, and services are also good. Mess food is not acceptable. There are lots of problems that I face. A paid canteen is available that requires money to eat. The medical department is also decent, and the sports facility is good, and all types of games are available.

Faculty: Faculty is good and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are well-educated, and the teaching quality I have seen is good. They are helpful for students. Our course curriculum is not relevant. To make you job-ready, you need to study beyond the course, also related to computer science and engineering subjects. The semester examination is not difficult, and it is easy to pass if we follow the subject teacher's notes and syllabus. 80 percent is the passing percentage.
