GJUST BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

GJUST BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The university offers BTech in 11 specialisations and four specialisations in Hindi medium through its seven affiliated colleges. Some of the course specialisations are Computer Science & Engineering, Food Technology, Printing Technology, etc. Mentioned below is course-related information:

GJUST BTech eligibility criteria:

An applicant should have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
For admission to BE/ BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should pass in Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.
A candidate who is passed in Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/ university.
Candidates should have obtained 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category candidates).

NOTE: In the absence of information, the above eligibility is taken from HSTES Counselling.

Selection & Admission:

The university also provides lateral entry to BTech courses. Candidates, after completing Class 12, can apply for any of the BTech courses. GJUST BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?

GJUST BTech admission is merit/ entrance examination based. GJUST accepts JEE Main scores for the selection of students. Before proceeding with GJUST admission formalities, it is advisable to check for the eligibility requirements. The steps to be followed for BTech course admission are explained below:

1: GJUST BTech Application Process 2025

The mode of application is online. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 300 for the General Category (INR 150 for EWS candidates of Haryana and INR 75 for SC, Deprived SC and BC Category candidates of Haryana). Check below the steps to apply for GJUST BTech admission:

1.1: Visit the official website, gjust.ac.in.

1.2: Click on 'Admission 2025-26' on the Home page.

1.3: Register with the basic details to generate login credentials.

1.4: Login to fill out the application form and upload the documents.

1.5: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Dissatisfied because of placement and faculty.

Placements: Electronics in this college is lacking in regards to placement because limited companies are interested in picking students from this college. The scope in electronics is very good, but in this college, it is not at all. The lowest package was 3 LPA, and the highest was 6-7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is very good, but it is only the infrastructure, not the study or courses. There is no space in hostels for students, and there is no generator to support electricity after a cut. No one is interested in listening to your problems. You have to buy your light for the room.

Faculty: Faculty members are rude and give maximum assignments. They are not interested in teaching. They want you to know everything. Exams are tough, and invigilators are rude. DMC will be bound if you are caught cheating in exams. You should complete attendance.

It's not a good placement. It's a useless university.

Placements: There was a placement of a few students.

Infrastructure: Sports facility was useless. There was no game, and no coach was available at the university. Everything was broken for the students. Hostel facilities were also useless, only 1-year-old people got hostel. Hostel rooms were also useless. Electricity hostel warden also did not do any work. 50% of the campus hostels gave only 1 year. The food at the mess was useless. The warden also did not listen to anyone, nor did it work. Even in the CSE department, no one agrees, makes useless rules, and had to make grounds again and again to work.

Faculty: Teachers were not available. They never allowed classes to be held, and no one takes classes according to the timetable. They did not teach the students well. They did not take exams well, even if you gave them exams well, they received a re-entry. The results were also late, and they did not give good results.

Other: I got admission in computer science engineering B.Tech because I liked it. The scope was very good in this college. The best thing was that my course had very good teacher. I studied more well for my improvement and cleared all my back. There were no events. There were hardly 2 events a year. There were no fests. The campus was a bit good. Scholarships were also available to only 40% of students. There was not much activity.

I would suggest students don't expect any program on a daily basis.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The hostel is very good. Rooms are large, but the food we get there is not as good as I expected. We will get our personal almirah, bed, and study table. There are 4 hostels and 3 wings in bh-4. I suggest students live in a new wing. It is the worst college for students because of the faculty, students, and security. Insects are roaming all over there. Wi-Fi is everywhere, but we don't get the excess. The infrastructure is good, and all the fees are for infrastructure. Don't expect the hostel from the 2nd year, especially for boys.

Faculty: We will go there to submit fees only and not for anything else because they are just looting our money for their personal use. There has been no upgrade for the last 4 years. I suggest students think properly and look for more options.

Other: Programs are boring and not exciting.

Everything is so good and properly maintained. But campus placement is so satisfying.

Placements: There is no placement in computer science branch. Mostly students seek off-campus placement. There is a compulsory project after the 2nd year. You have to do your training or internship, that's mandatory.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good at both college and hostel. Rooms are available for most of the students. Mess food is okay. Medical facilities are not available in case of emergency in both hostels. Girls hostel is very safe. In hostel, there is no Wi-Fi. Network speed is also low in most of the rooms.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. All the classes are on proper time, and syllabus is also covered in all semesters. Extra classes are also available at the end of semester. Teachers are strict. 75% attendance criteria is strictly maintained. You will have to remain sincere throughout the whole semester to get good marks. In computer science branch, there is good faculty for all the subjects like data structures, database management system, and computer graphic.

Other: In extracurricular activities, there are clubs like tech beats. There are sports meets, farewell, freshers, and fests in every semester.

Placements and ambiance of the college need to be strongly improved.

Placements: Not many companies came for placements, and many IT companies that offered placements either phased out or gave jobs after two years due to the 2008 recession.

Infrastructure: Hostel Is also of good standard and decent feels for mess and hostel was nominal around rupees 40000 per year Marine students well place in good IT companies earning really well at good position any travel frequently avoid from work related assignment you have started their on business.

Faculty: Faculty is average. Students just after passing college are used to a localized exam pattern as per Guru Jambheshwar University of Technology. In addition, there used to be a fuse conductor in one semester for a subject. The lab work is well-maintained with qualified instructors.

Other: Campus life is cool. Extracurricular activities are also there, like cultural fests, sports tournaments, and technical quizzes, but there used to be many fights in the college between students as well as with local security.

Placements: Students are not placed in college. 20% of students are placed. Very bad condition of placement at this college. Many students do not get a job after completing their graduation from this college. The highest package is 8 LPA. TCS is the recruiting company. There are no companies that come to hire the students. 0% internships are offered. No students get internships. No roles are offered in this course.

Infrastructure: There is no facility for students. Classroom conditions are bad. No computer is there in computer lab. Wi-Fi is not working in college. The number of books in library is very low. Hostel facilities are very good. There is bad hostel room. The internet is not working in the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi and mobile network. Food quality is very bad. We do not have medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Teachers' behavior is not good for students. This course curriculum is not relevant. This does not make the students industry-ready. They do not give any experience in the companies or industries. The checking system for exam is very bad. Exam is average but checking system is very bad.

Other: I chose this course because it is new for students and unique. There are no events and fests.
