IPU B.Ed Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IPU B.Ed is a two-year course, which is further divided into semester patterns. Around 24 colleges affiliated with GGSIPU offer a full-time B.Ed programme and each of the colleges offers an annual seat intake of 100 students. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. IPU B.Ed admission is entrance-based. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores have to participate in the counselling round for seat allotment. The table below mentions the IPU B.Ed course eligibility and selection criteria:

IPU started offering a two-year B.Ed (Special Education) programme from the academic session with the same eligibility criteria as for B.Ed. The University follows the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) guidelines for the B.Ed Special Education programmes for admissions and implementation. IPU B.Ed Admission 2025: How to Apply?
IP University admission to the B.Ed programme is entrance based. Shortlisted students go through a counselling round. The admission process is as follows:
1. GGSIPU B.Ed Application Process 2025
The application procedure is compeleted in online mode. Fulfill the eligibility criteria for admissions.
1. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in). Click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag down menu.
2. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration.
3. Select B.Ed from the programme drop-down menu and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because B.Ed comes under the 'CET' category courses.
4. Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.
5. Enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.
6. Fill in the details such as the year of passing and the school/ institution attended.
7. Upload the documents and pay the application fee (INR 1,500) via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

2. Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List
In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on applicants' scores in the respective entrance examinations. A cutoff list is prepared to declare the minimum score required for selection.
3. Counselling
Candidates with scores equal to or more than the cutoff can participate in the counselling round. The document verification and seat allotment is carried out in the round of counselling. The counselling schedule is published on the university's official website.
4. Admission Confirmation
The candidates selected after all the selection rounds need to pay the required admission fee for seat allotment.

GGSIPU selects candidates for admission to the B.Ed course based on the score in IPU CET/CUET-PG. The cutoff marks are determined based on the number of applicants, highest score, seat availability, etc. Thus, it varies every year. IPU cutoff for B.Ed dropped in 2023, in comparison to 2022. NTA has released the CUET PG 2024 exam dates. CUET PG 2024 examination is scheduled to be held between March 11 to March 28. As per the exam dates, aspirants who are preparing for CUET PG 2024 examination can expect the CUET PG 2024 application form in the first week of January, 2024.
Before filling up the online application form, candidates are advised to go through the CUET PG eligibility criteria carefully so that candidates doesn't loose their candidature at the time counselling process.
The CUET PG 2024 application form will available online on the CUET PG official website for a period of a month.
The IPU CET exam dates are announced by the exam conducting authority. The CET exam will be conducted for various courses from April 2026 to May 2026.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.
The average package offered during IPU USICT placements 2024 stood at INR 7.2 LPA. Further, a declining trend was witnessed in the average package offered over the past three years, which is presented below:

Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.
There are multiple components included in the course total fee, such as tuition fee, registration fee, security charges, etc. Some of the components are one-time chargeable such as security deposit and registration fee. IPU MBA fee ranges between INR 1.4 lakh to INR 5.7 lakh. This fee includes tuition fees and other components. The fee mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body.
