Overall best university for M.A. in Sociology course.

Placements: The parking lot at the college was excellent. Most of the students opted for private companies, with the highest salary being 27 LPA and the lowest being 6 LPA. Companies that came to the college included Save the Children, NCSC, and Times of India. The most common targets for students were public figures and journalists. Each student receives vocational training and earns between INR 50,000 and 1,50,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The classrooms at this university are clean and well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere except in certain areas. The library has excellent Wi-Fi. The university also has a gym and a hotel with Wi-Fi. There are many playgrounds on campus, and the university places great importance on sports.

Faculty: The instructors at this school have extensive knowledge and are very good at teaching. The curriculum includes tests, and it is advisable that you score at least 65% on the tests. If we do poorly on the tests, employers will look at our academic record and give us bad remarks.

It is the best college in whole North East India, and it offers a variety of courses.

Placements: Almost 45 students got admitted to our course, but salary packages are not offered from our course. Companies also did not visit here recruit. However, students got an internship at colleges. They also pursue a PhD or join NGO and government jobs. Top roles offered are in the welfare department, child development, women development, city planning, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very modern with all equipped amenities like Wi-Fi, digital labs, digital classrooms and modern libraries. Hostel campus is also very good in its surroundings and its infrastructure with all facilities in the room like iron bed, iron rack, iron table and chairs with 2 beds in a room. It has all the facilities like free Wi-Fi, free medical facilities, good sports ground and up to the mark mess food.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-knowledgeable and are qualified, and the teaching quality is very good. Teachers use various systematic ways to make us understand the context of the course. The course curriculum is vast to comprehend by a student in one semester.

Other: I have chosen this course because sociology is a founding course towards knowledge regarding every aspect of society. We came to know the advantage and disadvantages of our society. The course is well-maintained, but it needs to reduce the syllabus to make students comprehended the course. Fests like Versity Week and Freshersmen Social are the most enjoyable fest that happens around the campus. The connectivity is also very good, and the surroundings are lush green and picturesque. Scholarships are provided by the UGC, which all eligible can have, and it is helpful for backward and poor background students. Curriculum activities used to happen every week of the month.
