- The IIT JAM 2026 admit cards can now be downloaded from the official portal for admission to the MSc course. Further, the IIT JAM exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on Feb 15, 2026.

HBTU Kanpur Highlights 2025
Located in Kanpur, Harcourt Butler Technical University, popularly referred to as HBTU, is one of the government universities established in the year 2016 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. HBTU is associated with AKTU which provides courses approved by the AICTE. In addition to receiving a recognition from the UGC, HBTU also has an ‘A+’ grade from NAAC. These approved programs within Harcourt Butler Technical University include from the streams of Engineering, Technology, Management, Architecture, and a few others.

The university prepares the cutoff list as per the applicants CUET scores. Hence, the HBTU cutoff is determined based on exam score along with total seat intake and number of seats for reserved categories. The main campus has two hostels for boys namely, Shirdharacharya Hostel and Ramanujan Hostel and six hostels for girl students such as Alaknanda Hostel, Mandakini Hostel, Gangotri Hostel, Bhagirathi Hostel, Kaveri Hostel and Saraswati Hostel.
Gymnasium Facility: The gymnasium facility is available on the west campus of the HBTU near the west campus hostel. The gymnasium has a wide range of exercise machines such as treadmills, cross trainers, exercise bikes, exercise balls, dumbbells, and strength training machines. The students are required to enter their names and other relevant details in the register. Residents are free to use all the facilities available in the gymnasium.
