Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi offers MTech courses in a full-time mode. The two-year duration course is divided into four semesters. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by visiting IIIT Delhi official website. Admission to the MTech CSE, ECE, and CB is based on GATE score. For CB course, selected candidates have to go through an online interview round as well. Moreover, for the MTech CB DBT seats, aspirants are selected based on GAT-B exam scores followed by an interview round. Additionally, for MTech (Research) course admission, PGCAT-IIIT Delhi exam score is accepted following which candidates have to go through an offline interview round. IIIT Delhi MTech admission begins with the application procedure. Eligible candidates can apply online for the desired MTech course. The step-by-step MTech application process for is explained below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIIT Delhi (iiitd.ac.in).
Step 2: Click on the MTech course from the ‘Admission’ tab.
Step 3: Click on the respective application link.
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and fill out the application form.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and apply.
STEP 2: Release of Cutoff List
After the application process is concluded, the institute releases a cutoff list. Candidates with a GATE score equal to or more than the cutoff marks become eligible for admission. In addition, for MTech CB (DBT) admission is based on GAT-B score.
STEP 3: Interview Round
The eligible candidates will further be called for the interview round. The interview is conducted in online and offline modes.

Yes, admission to a MTech course is IIIT Delhi is accepted without GATE score. However, it depends upon the chosen specialisation. GATE score is mandatory for the MTech CB course admission. However, admission to MTech CSE and ECE programmes is done based on merit in GATE, plus PGCAT-IIITD exam scores are also accepted. Additionally, for the MTech CB (DBT seats) admission, the selection is done based on GAT-B score.
