NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, Indraprastha IIT Delhi ranks #63 under the category 'Engineering'.
The UCEED 2026 registration portal is open for admission to the B.Des course. With the regular fee, the deadline to register is Oct 31, 2025. Further, the UCEED Exam 2026 will be conducted on Jan 18, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The JAC Delhi Counselling 2025 has concluded with the Special Spot Round process for admission to the BTech course.
- PG Diploma in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence (Online mode) admissions are open. Candidates can apply for the course through the official institute's website.
- The GATE 2026 online application process is currently open for admission to Ph.D. and ME/Mtech course. The last date to apply without fine fee has been extended to Oct 6, 2025. The GATE 2026 exam will be held on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

IIIT Delhi Highlights 2025
The Indraprastha Institute of Information Delhi also known as IIIT Delhi or IIIT D is a state level institute founded in 2008. The main campus is located at Okhla and has been approved by the UGC. IIIT Delhi is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A'. The institute is funded by the Government of Delhi. It has set up an R&D lab in collaboration with IRISYS Corporation Limited, South Korea. The IIIT Delhi was ranked 63 under the 'Engineering' category of the NIRF Rankings 2025.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology IIIT Delhi has signed an MoU with UNIST, for a period of five years to promote academic cooperation between both the two institutes. IIIT Delhi admission to the top courses, which are BTech and MTech is through JEE Main/ UCEED and GATE/ PGCAT-IIITD/ GAT-B, respectively. IIIT Delhi scholarships are provided under various criteria for UG and PG-level students. The scholarship amount or percentage differs according to the income of the parents.
Chairman’s Merit Scholarship for top BTech aspirants, admitted through JAC Counselling:
Any Delhi student with a JEE Main rank of less than 2,000, seeking admission at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi through JAC Counselling is entitled to a scholarship of Rs 1.25 LPA for four years, provided that the student maintains a CGPA of 8.5 or above. These students are not eligible for the income-linked fee waiver scheme of the scholarships.
