- The JAC Delhi 2026 counselling registration window for admission to the BTech course will tentatively open in May 2026.
- PG Diploma in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence (Online mode) admissions are open. Candidates can apply for the course through the official institute's website.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.
IIIT Delhi Highlights 2026
The Indraprastha Institute of Information Delhi, also known as IIIT Delhi or IIIT D, is a state-level public institute founded in 2008. Its main campus is located at Okhla and has also been approved by the UGC. IIIT Delhi is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has been accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A'. The institute is funded by the Government of Delhi. It has set up an R&D lab in collaboration with IRISYS Corporation Limited, South Korea. The IIIT Delhi was ranked 63 under the 'Engineering' category of the NIRF Rankings 2025.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology IIIT Delhi has also signed an MoU with UNIST, for a period of five years to promote academic cooperation between both the two institutes. Yes, admission to a MTech course is IIIT Delhi is accepted without GATE score. However, it depends upon the chosen specialisation. GATE score is mandatory for the MTech CB course admission. However, admission to MTech CSE and ECE programmes is done based on merit in GATE, plus PGCAT-IIITD exam scores are also accepted. Additionally, for the MTech CB (DBT seats) admission, the selection is done based on GAT-B score.
As per the latest reports the cut off list has not been released. IIIT Delhi cutoff 2024 will be released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI Quota.
NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page. JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.
