1. State Bank of India (IIIT branch) guarantees an SBI Scholar student loan to a student who secures admission at IIITH of up to 20 Lacs (without the need for any security). This can be availed even if the applicant’s family has other existing loans.
2. The alumni of IIIT Hyderabad have set up a fund to support successfully admitted students based on need. The assistance is provided on a pay-it-forward* basis. In a Pay-it-forward scheme, students agree to pay the tuition fees of another student, after they successfully and start earning. The fund provides the below support

• Financial support to students whose family income is below 8 LPA from the second semester, subject to availability and meeting the pre-defined criteria
• Students above the income threshold can also apply and may be granted tuition support if their case is found worthy by the committee

As per the verified students' reviews available on Shiksha, the institute offers 100% placements to CSE students with an average package ranging from INR 20 LPA to INR 23 LPA. Additionally, companies, such as Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Zomato, Flipkart and Samsung visit the institute to hire students. Other than the placements, students seem really satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty of the institute since most of the faculty members are PhDs and the campus is well built, spacious, wi-fi enabled and is food friendly for everyone. The admission process at IIIT Hyderabad is completely online and entrance-based for BTech. Admission to the BTech course at IIIT Hyderabad is done based on a valid score in one of JEE Main/ UGEE/ Olympiad (KVPY) exams. Students seeking admission via JEE Main are required to appear for the exam and have a valid score before IIIT Hyderabad application.
