Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 7216 and closing rank was 7216. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. The course for which a candidate is applying determines the syllabus for the entrance tests at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). Nonetheless, the following subjects are frequently tested in JMI admission exams:

In 2025, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 51961 for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. Jamia Millia Islamia admission to UG and PG courses is entrance exams based. The university accepts JMI entrance exam, CUET and JEE Main for admission.
