JNTUK BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada BTech is a flagship course at the university. The UG-level courses are offered across more than 20 specialisations, all with similar eligibility requirements for admission. Names of some of the offered specialisations are Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, etc.
Candidates willing to be admitted to BTech at JNTUK must have valid eligibility criteria and entrance exam scores. JNTUK BTech admission is based on entrance examination i.e., EAMCET. Candidates willing to study at JNTUK must complete the admission procedure as per the university's admission guidelines. JNTUK BTech course admission involves an application process, shortlisting of students, the release of the merit list, counselling, and seat allotment. Step 1: JNTUK BTech Application Process 2025
To gain admission to the courses offered at JNTU, candidates are required to visit the official website of the respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies. They need to fill out the application form in online mode.

To get a seat in JNTU, it all depends on your category of caste. If you are a general category student, then you need to get a rank below 3000 to get in Computer Science engineering, and if you want to just join the college irrespective of course, then your rank should be between 3k to 10k.
