Satisfied with infrastructure, facilities, and teaching approach.
Placements: Placements rate is often too low for French hons course. The French is widely spoken around the world so there are not adequate amount of opportunities. Although, there are jobs of translation and interpretation often paying around 5 LPA-6 LPA. The best is to continue in French till Ph.D. and to be a professor at some university that's the best career option for Indian students.
Infrastructure: There are three buildings only for cultural and linguistic studies. Classrooms are big enough with comfortable benches and air-conditioners, campus has 24/7 Wi-Fi facility, 24/7 library, and reading rooms. There are language labs where students can translate real-time video and listen to real-time communication. Hostels also have 24/7 Wi-Fi facility, tasty food, and good infrastructure at their price. As the fee is only Rs. 268 so for that price the hostels and their facilities are excellent. There is a separate mess bill that amounts to around Rs. 3000 per month, it justifies its cost by taste.
Faculty: All the teachers here are Ph.D. scholars, they've been to foreign universities for their linguistic studies which makes them very skilled in their professions. They are very helpful, they keep an eye on every student, record performances, and schedule classes accordingly. The course is well designed with 4 core subjects like grammar, phonetics, communication approach, and culture. Teachers give a deep understanding of these subjects that makes students work ready for their respective country. Semester exams are medium to hard level, questions are from the syllabus only and there are grades system. C- is the minimum to pass in any subject.
Other: I wanted to learn French and make a career in this only. So I joined this university, the best in India for linguistic studies. There is a good environment for learning on campus. Enthusiastic students to share knowledge and fun with. There is a political environment too in campus, the whole year is happening. There are political events or college fests like Kallol that are ultimate fun.

Good infrastructure, a good environment, and the best faculty members.
Placements: Placements percentage is around 90-95% in the French language. There is no campus placement at JNU, but the quality of education is excellent. In language, you can definitely work as an interpreter in MNCs. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, and many more. The top roles like you can also work in RAW, ISRO, and HAL, as an interpreter.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms everything is fine. The hostel infrastructure needs some renovation, but it is still good. The food quality is also affordable and healthy. There is a stadium accessible to everyone, and there is also a badminton court in every hostel.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and have a lot of teaching experience. They have a student-friendly curriculum, and if you study well, the semester exams are easier for you. The passing CGPA is around 2, but it varies from year to year. The ecosystem is education-friendly.
Other: In the French language, there is having lot of scope worldwide. It is also the 4th largest spoken language in the world. It is quite similar to English, so it is easier to learn. For the sake of campus events, there are public talks 2-3 times a week. There are provisions for scholarships, and also a lot of extracurricular activities to do.

JNU- We study, we protest and that's why we are the best.
Placements: I'm a student of batch 2022 in French studies. The percentage of students got placed in my course is approximately 30%. The highest package is around 10 LPA and the average package offered in my courses is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Concentrix. They offered jobs for students. Total 90% of students got internships from my course and top roles offered in our course are language assistance, tour guide, and translator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of JNU is quite decent and good facilities like library for 24/7 and science labs. Classrooms are quite decent on campus, there are approximately 18 hostels on campus and food quality is very good. The mess and canteens are best in JNU. They provide 24/7 food on campus. There are free medical facilities and one of the biggest transport complexes on our campus. They offer many games for students.
Faculty: Faculty members of JNU are very good. They are well-qualified and the best academicians. Their knowledge and their quality of teaching are very good. The course is related to the school of language, literature, and culture studies. They are mainly focused on foreign languages and their literature and their culture exams are very easy. They are not very difficult and the pass percentage is approximately 100%.
Other: I chose this course because of JNU teachers. The environment of JNU is very good. The best thing about my course is many students selected for foreign scholarships. I don't know about the culture and literature of that particular language. There is nothing that I wish would be better or improved. I am active in my course because it is already very good. Campus crowd is very good. The connection between students and teachers is very good. There are many protests and talks on campus sometimes. We enjoyed DJ night so overall it's very good and the best campus.

JNU: A happening college.
Placements: In my course, out of 48 students around 30 got placed. The highest package is 14 LPA. The average is 7 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, and some top private schools. For internships, you've to apply off-campus and many students have done that. The role offered is of interpreter mostly.
Infrastructure: At LLC, our classes take place. We have a projector and sound system. The room is soundproof. We have AC. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available. Our central library is very good with a huge seating capacity. The mess food is good. We have a gym in the hostel. Wi-Fi is also there. We have a badminton court and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and cooperative. They don't let any students fall behind and focus on each child. The curriculum is relevant. Teachers teach in a happening and manner relating it to real circumstances and exams aren't too tough. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: The fee is too low. They provide a hostel that too at an affordable price. Campus life is awesome, especially the nightlife. It is good for academics and overall development.

Really good campus which is close to nature.
Placements: Really beautiful and historical infrastructure. Great faculty and students. There is no placement cell for the foreign language students at JNU, but one of our professors created a WhatsApp group where he kept updating us about the off-campus recruiters. Companies such as Accenture and Amazon were the most frequent. The average package varies from INR 4-5 lakhs per annum. None of the internships are or were provided. The role of content reviewer in the companies is recruited.
Infrastructure: The wifi is accessible on the entire campus, the classes are good and regularly cleaned, and the library is the best. The hostels are not good, though, and the minimal fee structure makes them affordable. The canteens are good too. The sports facilities are also up to par.
Faculty: The faculty has the best, highly qualified teachers; the teaching styles are friendly, and they make you speak and write the foreign language very well. The course makes the student industry-ready, but no internships are provided. The exams are quite easy, with a minimum of 4 CGPA required to pass.
Other: The best thing about the course is that you have a lot of ways to learn the language, and you also have a lot of free time to pursue other things. I would like some internships and more scholarship guidance in my course. The campus keeps on hosting many functions and conferences, many sports events, and other extracurricular programmes.
