NEET PG schedule involves dates of events related to exam. Whole schedule is released by exam conducting body along with the official information brochure. KGMU Admission Process 2025 FAQs
Presently, KGMU offers admission to MBBS course on 250 seats. Candidates are selected based on a valid rank obtained in NEET UG entrance exam. At KGMU, all the seats are filled with UP state NEET UG counselling process, which is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) particularly for the state colleges of KGMU. At KGMU, a three-year DM course is offered across eight specialisations. Admission to all the specialisations are done through a common admission process. "KGMU - King George's Medical University will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The NEET score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course

The opening and closing ranks for KGMU cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 1026 and the closing rank was 1457. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at KGMU - King George's Medical University other than General category are - 2029 for OBC, 106643 for SC, 56190 for ST, 1844 for EWS, 204412 for PWD. KGMU admissions are both merit and entrance-based depending upon the level and type of the course one chooses. For BSc courses, the university offers direct admission, while for other UG & PG courses, the admission is based on national-level entrance exams such as NEET PG, NEET SS, NEET UG, etc.
