Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak is a good choice for pursuing a B.Tech degree, particularly for students seeking a government-affiliated college with a strong focus on engineering education. The university's University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) offers well-equipped labs, a dedicated workshop area for mechanical and civil branches, and a clean, spacious campus with good sports facilities.

The MCC conducts the centralised NEET UG Counselling round-wise. Every year, the MCC releases the round-wise Seat Allotment results for Round 1, 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. Only candidates with a NEET UG scores are allowed to be a part of NEET UG Counselling. Candidates clearing the NEET cutoff are allotted a seat in the medical or dental colleges. The courses offered through NEET UG scores are MBBS- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery across the medical and dental colleges.

The fee is INR 2.80 lakh. MDU ROHTAK is an average University. Though it has some good impression in North India but I will suggest you to evaluate all options as placements are highly unlikely in mechanical and electrical Branch.

Students applying for the BTech admissions must secure 45%-60% in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  HSTES, and others. Students are selected in this university based on their JEE Main Ranks. The JEE Main cut off changes every year and is dependent on various criteria such as the no. of students available, no. of seats filled, No of students applying for admissions, and other criteria. 

Colleges affiliated to MDU Rohtak offers BTech courses based on JEE Main score. Further, minimum 75% marks in class 12 is necessary to get into MDU Rohtak. Under 70 percentiles, candidates won't be permitted to appear in the exam and take admission to MDU Rohtak as per the eligibility official criteria.
