MAKAUT MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
MAKAUT MCA is a full time course with a duration of two years. This course is offered to students who wish to make a career in IT feild. Offered in full time mode, candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility criteria for MCA at MAKAUT as mentioned below:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have obtained a UG degree in relevant feild and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks. Students must note that the eligibility criteria has been sourced from official sources. However, it is subject to change.
MAKAUT MCA Fees 2025
The fee structure of MAKAUT courses is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time. However, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees. As per official sources, the total tuition fee to pursue MCA ranges from INR 80,000 to INR 3.6 lakh. MAKAUT MCA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
MAKAUT MCA course admission are done based on scores in the JECA examination. Students interested in seeking admission to the MCA course are required to apply for the aforementioned examination. STEP 1: MAKAUT MCA Application Process 2025
- Visit the official website of JECA and click on 'Apply Online for JECA'.
- Register by adding the required details, such as name, contact details and a valid email ID
- Check for the registration number received via SMS/email
- Login and fill out the application form
- Pay the application fee and submit the form
STEP 2: Shortlisting of Candidates
After the announcement of JECA results, candidates are ranked based on their performance in the entrance exams. Candidates who qualify based on scores are further evaluated based on group discussions and personal interview rounds.
STEP 3: JECA Counselling 2025
The candidates who are shortlisted for counselling are informed about further process over call/mail, by the authorities of JECA. The counselling fee for JECA 2025 is expected to be INR 500. However, it is subject to change at the discretion of the concerned authorities.
STEP 4: Admission Confirmation
Students who get allocated a seat via the counselling need to get their documents verified by the admission authorities. After document verification, students are required to pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission.

MAKAUT MCA curriculum includes a semester-wise list of subjects to be taught throughout the course duration. Some of the subjects included in the curriculum are Object Oriented Programming with Java, Information System Analysis and Design, Java Programming Lab, Python Programming Lab, etc. Moreover, the university conducts a six weeks online Bridge Course for non Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology background students according to the detailed syllabus.
