NEHU Shillong offers MD and MS courses based on NEET PG scores. In 2024, the NEHU Shillong NEET PG cutoff stood between 451 and 95209 for the General AI category candidates. While analysing the cutoffs, the programme having the highest demand among candidates was MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. In contrast to it, the programme having the lowest demand was MD in Anatomy. 

As per the admission guidelines of NEHU Shillong, admission to BTech courses is solely based on JEE Mains scores. Candidates must first qualify for the JEE Mains entrance examination. Additionally, the number of seats available for the BTech lateral entry programmes is 10, while the four-year BTech programme offers 20 seats. Therefore, securing a seat in the programme is quite competitive.
