I am satisfied with the services and the good infrastructure offered by the college.
Placements: 80% of students got admission in our course. The highest package is approximately Rs. 22,000, the lowest is about Rs. 17,000, and the average package is around Rs. 19,000. There are many companies that recruit at our college, like Red Hat, MNCs, and many others. 50% of the applied students got an internship in our course. Roles like HR and management are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The campus has facilities like a library, computer rooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and other technological systems, which make it sufficient to learn. The quality of the facilities in a hostel, canteens, medical facilities, and other infrastructure is also available and is monitored daily. The overall quality is good.
Faculty: The teachers and other staff help learn and understand things through operations and relevant experience. They are qualified and try to get in touch with us. The course curriculum is very relevant. Thus, it makes the students ready for the future. The semester exams in the college are not that difficult. The passing percentage is about 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I am capable of doing something that this course provides. The best thing about my course is that it provides many ways to improve the experiences and improve the way of living. There are many events, festivals, and other activities. The college also provides scholarships and comfortable surroundings on the campus.

Placements: I have no idea how many of my classmates got into the internship because I did apply for it, but since it's a selection process, I didn't get it, so I literally have no idea of the internship that they do, but I do know that they give information and opportunities for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, where the students and the staff can access both the online and offline platforms of the library that are visible on the official college website. In the library, we have computers that the students can use for research purposes. The canteen is so good that we get everything we need to fill our tummies.
Faculty: The teachers are rare and all qualified; some have already done their Ph.D., yet they still want to teach us. They're very reliable too. The course that the college provides is very relevant to both life and college. Semester exams are not that hard; if you study from the passed que, you can score easily, and we got 2 exams, where the first is the internals for 20 and the finals for 80. and the pass percentage is 30.
Other: I chose this course case according to my research and recommendations. I did get that my college had always been in the top 10 from the BBA department in all of Shillong, so yes, that's why I got in here. To improve, I would like to tell you about the tables and benches in the old building, but in the new building, the benches and tables are perfect. Yes, we do have a college festival that lasts about a week, and there you can showcase all your talents, like cosplay, singing, dancing, and more, like poems and love letters. The surroundings are also good because there's not much noise and they're eco-friendly. We even got our college gym, and we have completed both indoor and outdoor sports.

Placements: The college didn't unlock its full potential for helping students achieve success in placements. They only suggested a limited number of opportunities, which weren't good enough for all the candidates facing drives. The moderate package offered was 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Individual hostel accommodation was available for both boys and girls. Both were on the campus, with the boys hostels near the entrance and the girls hostels built in the middle of the campus for security purposes. Moreover, the food provided in the hostels was mostly repeated varieties. Which was one of the most annoying things about staying in hostels.
Faculty: For continuous involvement of students in academic portions, innovative ideas and discussions were conducted regularly by teachers. Teachers were very strict invigilators, not only with the examination papers but also in monitoring the students' regular activities.

Great college life with cool young people.
Placements: The students got placed in companies like Wipro and Google with starting package of 2.5 LPA. Most of them did not go for interview. Only few student went for campus recruitment. They get placed in executive roles or lower management. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with modern equipments in classroom and laboratories. The whole campus has Wi-Fi connection. There is one stationary shop, two canteens and one library. The infrastructure is huge and we have around 1500 students studying different courses like music, arts, Science, media and commerce.
Faculty: The faculty is the most experienced one in whole state. Teachers are helpful and ready to guide in all situations. They are not biased and will lead you to the right path always. Some teachers are creative enough to give you good ideas and innovative solutions for startups.

The best college in Shillong or rather in the Northeast.
Placements: The placements during my batch were not really satisfying as there were only fewer companies that came to our campus like Infosys and TCS. Very few students attended the placements as most of them either wanted to pursue higher studies or were looking for a job in the city itself and did not want to go outside. It was however the same for the seniors as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has enough rooms for all the classes to take place. There are different rooms for different laboratories. The computer lab, as well as the biotechnology lab, are on the top floor. The library has also been renovated and has become quite big and spacious for the students to sit comfortably. Wi-Fi facility is also available throughout but we need to register for it to use. Other facilities like canteen are also good and reasonable enough for students. The food is also good and has lots of varieties. The hostels are also well cleaned and are separate for boys and girls. There is also a gym facility for students as well as teachers. There is a separate studio for the mass media and mass communication department.
Faculty: I can say that all the teachers who have taught me were excellent and also very helpful in everything. They were all knowledgeable and they didn't believe only in bookish knowledge. What was important for them was to make each and every student understand the basics of the knowledge and then come to reality. The teaching quality was very good. There would always be a two-way communication and there would also be a feedback and review session. Our department would go on field trips at least once or twice a year. There would be regular classes then class participation through presentations, case studies, role play, etc.
Other: We would conduct various events by all the department's and the college is always supportive of all these events. Few events would be conducted by various committees of various departments. I would like to mention about my department whereby we have a club called the Minnova club where we as a department would conduct a one-day event which will help contribute towards the society of whatever funds collected through the event. There would be similar other events of other departments.

Very satisfied and had good placements as of 2024. Teaching quality was very good at a good price.
Placements: More than 100 students in this course. The requirement for students in the course was at least 50% marks in HSLC. The course offered a variety of subjects like finance, accounting, marketing, and human resources. The top recruiters for this course were related to banking, finance, and insurance. The majority of students who got internships were mostly in banking-related companies. The most common roles offered for this course were financial analyst, financial advisor, and insurance.
Infrastructure: Facilities were quite good, like the classrooms and library, which were all well-managed. However, the hostel rooms were quite small and were kind of congested for doing chores. I would rate the food in the hostel as a bit average. For sports and games, there was a basketball court inside the campus and carrom and table tennis in the boys’ and girls’ common rooms. There was also football, where we could join and play with other colleges or teams.
Faculty: Teachers were very polite and helpful. They provided advice or suggestions to help us get good marks. Their teaching quality was quite good, and the course curriculum helped students understand the value of the course and made them ready for their future careers. The semester exams were difficult but still understandable for the course I studied. The pass percentage was above 50 percent.
Other: I chose BBA in this college since it offered many topics. The best thing about this course was that you could get easy job offers with a high-paying salary. The things I wanted this course to improve were to make it a bit less complicated and more simplified. Overall, events occurred frequently in this college, such as college week, basketball matches, food fests, etc.

Hi! If you want to take admission in B.Sc B.Ed in NEHU, Shillong, you need to take the NCET exam conducted by NTA and apply online via NEHU's portal. Eligibility is 10+2 with 50% if Gen or 45% for sc/st. Just register yourself, pay the fees and wait for the merit list.
