Reading room and library facilities to study.
Placements: Basically, from the end of the 6th semester, which is from the end of the 3rd year, your placements start, and all kinds of companies visit, from IT to chemical to electrical, etc. Some hire in mass, while others hire a few specific candidates. This college maintains a group where all the information is transmitted. If a company wants to hire, it releases a Google form through the groups, and students can apply if they are eligible. Companies like PhonePe, Oracle, Infosys, Accenture, Kalki Tech, EY, Insight Software, and many more are on the list. All these companies hire a handful of students and first offer them paid internships for a few months before converting them to full-time employees. The highest offer last year was 32 lakh, with an average of 5 lakh to 6 lakh and the lowest being 3.5 lakh.
Infrastructure: The campus life is pretty amazing. Festivals are thoroughly enjoyed. Each department has its own library where books can be referred to but not taken out. There is also a main library with a reading room that remains open until 3 am. We celebrate almost all the festivals, like Sankranti, Ugadi, Onam, Christmas, Ramzan (Iftar), Ganesh Chaturthi, and Bathukamma, and every department has separate celebrations.
Faculty: Every department has around 30 to 40 teaching and non-teaching staff, and every semester contains approximately 4 to 5 subjects. Teachers are alternated every semester, so every teacher gets a chance to interact with the students throughout. Each semester, we have 3 internal assessments for 50 marks each in all subjects, like a monthly test. All 50 marks are reduced to 20, so the 3 tests throughout the semester are 20 + 20 + 20 = 60. Assignments contain 20 marks, and some seminars and certifications contain 20 marks, so 60 + 20 + 20 = 100. This 100 is divided into half (100/2 = 50), so this final 50 is your college internal mark for the final exam. The rest 50 comes from the main board exam from the university.

It is worth the money. It will give you the best memories of campus life.
Placements: No placements should be in our courses; no campus placements; only internships are provided; campus placements are not in our courses; they will only give us knowledge. It will be helpful to get jobs outside, but our course offers the best internships at great companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course department are good, with proper Wi-Fi benches, classrooms, and labs. The quality of facilities in our hostel is average; the food available in the mess and canteen is good; and they are also maintaining good cuisine for everyone .
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable; the quality of teaching is good; they are very intellectual; the course curriculum is very relevant; it will help us become industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, but if you're well prepared, it will be easy to get a good score.

Our college has provided good placements in the academic year 2019-2020.
Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed from our college. Including our course, the highest salary package offered is of 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is of 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is of 3 LPA. The placement cell organises campus recruitment programmes every year. It takes pride in facilitating placements for the eligible students in MNCs like IBM, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Verizon, HP, ITC, CTS, Honeywell, Patni Computers, Gate, IFlex, etc. The roles offered were as analysts, software engineers, etc. Almost 30% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Some of the facilities provided by the college are Wi-Fi in labs, library and reading rooms, projectors, smart classrooms, air-conditioned library, seminar halls, where few rooms are huge, and few are small. The hostel provides good rooms, and the quality of the food served is excellent. Wi-Fi is available inside the hostel rooms, mess and reading halls and many other good facilities are also available in our hostel and mess.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable, and they offer many courses and projects. Their interaction in the classrooms is good, and the teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and M.Sc, and MCA courses make students industry-ready. They make students prepared to face interviews.
Other: I opted for this course because I am very interested in every aspect of computer science. Most things are good about our course, and there is nothing to improve further. There are many events held in our college. Campus crowd and the connectivity and surroundings are good. Scholarships are provided and extracurricular activities, etc., are also held in our university.

Very good central university.
Placements: Placements at Pondicherry University, students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visited the campus to offer jobs in software development and testing. The highest package was around 4 LPA - 6 LPA. 70-80% of students got placed. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in it.
Infrastructure: Library here was some of the best collections, you could find, they had all types of genres. They also provided e-services. They had enough facilities in the classroom for teaching. They had smart boards and benches. There was still a need for improvement in the classroom. There was both outdoor stadium and an indoor stadium. There were hostels for boys and girls inside the college. Mostly hostels were 3 seated. Wi-Fi was available all over the campus with CCTV security.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. They were highly educated and experienced. As it was a central university, most faculty members had done their Ph.D. from top most colleges. Teachers had chosen very nice lies, and they had tried to improve us in a way that was beautiful and clear. The students were almost over 60. The term exam was very difficult because it came during this corona period, and it was a bit difficult for us to study. We could not do it at that particular time. There were two semesters in a year.

As per University eligibility criteria a Bachelors degree in any discipline in Science/ B.A. Geography/ B.E. Civil Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% of marks. + Entrance test.
So, graduate with ECE are not eligible for this program.
