Review of Pondicherry University, Kalapet.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students were placed in this course and 50% of students got internships from this course in famous companies. The highest package offered in this course is about 2 Lacs to 7 Lacs and the lowest package offered in this course is about 5 Lacs to 11 Lacs.

Infrastructure: The facilities offered in the hostel and facilities available for this course are good and adjustable. The facilities include healthy food from the hostel, Wi-Fi availability, AC classrooms and a library from the course. Medical facilities are an important factor for students.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and there is no favorite student of the teacher; everyone is their favorite. They provide special notes for everyone and their teaching skills are good. The semester exam was tough but due to deep understanding and teaching skills, everyone passed with a respected score.

Placements: 60 percent of students were placed in our college, with the highest salary package of 8.5 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA. Many recruiting companies visited our college, and approximately 3 students secured internships. Top roles offered in our course include lecturer positions and teacher jobs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with good facilities such as Wi-Fi, food, and medical services available in both the college and hostel. Labs and libraries are available in separate departments, and sports and cultural events are also conducted.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good, making it easy to understand the material. Our course is not curriculum-related, and exams are easy if we study daily, allowing us to pass.

The university is good with excellent infrastructure, facilities, departments and hostels.

Placements: Companies like Venper Academy, Chegg, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, South Indian Bank, etc., visit our college for placements. Companies recruit students from various departments. Students got placed in this university based on all India entrance examination conducted by Pondicherry University. The salary packages offered depends on the company.

Infrastructure: The college provides an excellent infrastructure and hostel facilities for students. The college provides 3 sharing room for students. Facilities like beds, study table and chairs are available in the rooms. Food facilities are good, especially for South Indian students. Students get 3 meals per day,i.e., breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lab facilities are very good. The university provides a special lab for PhD science scholars with important instruments. Wi-Fi quality is very good. All departments and hostels are provided with internet facilities.

Faculty: Pondicherry University syllabus is well designed for CSIR NET and UGC NET entrance examination. Professors are helpful and good.

Other: Pondicherry University is famous for conducting events throughout the year. Students from different departments usually participate in all functions. The college provides scholarships for merit students.

Other: When I joined the college, I felt like it is going to bloom in few months. The construction works that were going on that time looked like it was going to be completed soon. But even after I completed my PG, it remained the same. If I have to tell about academics, Physics department is good and you can rate it just below IIT's. There are few administrative problems going on in the university now, but expected to be over soon. The vice chancellor made some weird decisions and that made all the administrative problems in the university. Hostels are not enough to accommodate the number of students getting admitted in the university and they are not building any new hostels, making the stay little bit difficult. Mess food is not something great, but it worth the money. I don't know whether we can get such a food for 80 Rs per day.

Good central university, nice location.

Placements: The university offers good placement opportunities. Many companies come to them for hiring. Recently, Zifo and Solutions came for placement. The average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. A good percentage of students from engineering, management, and science departments got placements. I am also planning to get a placement through this opportunity.

Infrastructure: Campus life at Pondicherry University is beautiful. The university has an excellent environment. The university has a big library. Almost every book and journal we require is there. Classroom infrastructure is also good with technologies like projectors and microphones. In the university, hostels are quite less compared to students, but they give preference to distant students. Overall, the facilities of the hostels are good, and the food quality in the mess is good.

Faculty: The M.Sc. in Physics course is awesome at this university. Faculty members are very friendly, and we can ask about any problem. I chose this course because I like physics very much. In this course, the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:5. Most of the faculty members hold great positions in their research work. Some of them have post-doctorates from very good universities around the world.
