PU UGLAW 2025: Counselling Schedule (OUT), Admission Process, Fee Payment & More

The last date to fill out the PU UGLAW 2026 is not yet announced and it will be announced on the PU Chandigarh official website. The last date to deposit the PU UGLAW fee through Online mode and the deadline date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information in the registration form on the website for final submission will be notified after the release of the application form. Candidates will be able to submit printout of form along with required documents for claiming the concession of Entrance Test Fee for SC/ST/PwD/P.U. Employees by the deadline ascertained by the exam authority.

The PU UGLAW admit card, or the PU BA LLB/BCom LLB entrance exam admit card, is made available on the official exam website of the PU UGLAW, uglaw.puchd.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates can use the following steps: 

• Go to the official PU UGLAW exam website of the Panjab University: uglaw.puchd.ac.in. 
• Click on the link with the name "PU UGLAW Admit Card."
• Provide your PU UGLAW registration number and password as login credentials. 
• Now, click on the download button and save the admit card as a pdf.
• Once you download the PU UGLAW, you need to affix your passport-size photo to it. 

Note: The registration number and password that need to be used at the time of downloading the PU UGLAW admit card will be the same as the registration number and password that you generated at the time of the exam registration.

The PU UGLAW exam, also known as the PU BA LLB / BCom LLB entrance exam, can be cracked through the right preparation strategies. These strategies include the following: 

• Go through the exam pattern of the PU BA LLB/BCom LLB entrance exam. It includes four sections: General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Aptitude for Law, Mental Ability, and English Language. Learn these subjects well to excel in all sections of the exam.
• Focus on preparing for the General Knowledge and Current Affairs section of the PU UGLAW exam because it carries maximum weightage of 60 marks in the question paper. If you can prepare well for this section, you can achieve a high score in the PU UGLAW exam. 
• Solve pervious year's question paper of the PU BA LLB/ BCom LLB entrance exam to get familiar with the types of questions asked in the exam and the exam pattern. 
• Solve the books designed for the UG-level law entrance exam preparation. You can solve the CLAT and AILET preparation books.

Candidates appearing for PU UGLAW exam day will be asked to carry the following items along with the admit card:

• A valid photo Identity proof as issued by the government authority - Passport, Driver's License, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card etc. School Identity Proof with photograph of a candidate may be permitted at the discretion of the exam centre officials. 
• Pen with blue or black ink, and an HB pencil to mark answers in OMR sheet
• A transparent water bottle, a sanitizer bottle (50 ml) and mask will be allowed
• Candidates were allowed to carry their medicine or eatables if they are diabetic. 
• Candidates who are handicapped and require help of Scribe were allowed to bring their scribe with prior permission, but they were asked to carry documents for PWD category and Scribe's eligibility as per the exam authority's guidelines. 
• Candidates were not allowed to carry mobile phones, bags and any other electronic items or smart watch inside the examination hall. 

The PU UGLAW 2026 admit card or the PU BA LLB / BCom LLB entrance exam 2026 admit card will be released on the official UGLAW exam website of the Panjab University - uglaw.puchd.ac.in a few days before the exam. Candidates will have to download their admit card before the exam date. The PU UGLAW 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode at exam centres in Chandigarh. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam day. Without the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. They also need to carry an original copy of their Aadhar Card/ PAN Card / Passport.

Candidates who appeare for the PU UGLAW 2025 exam day are asked to be careful about certain instructions as mentioned below:

• Download the admit card at least 2-3 days prior to the exam day,  
• Check the test centre, name and timings beforehand. 
• No candidate were permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card and a valid photo ID card.
• Candidates appearing under Person with Disability category must carry their PwD certificate to the exam centre.

The PU UGLAW 2025 answer key will tentatively be released in July 2025. To access the answer key, candidates will have to visit the uglaw.puchd.ac.in. 

Candidates can challenge the answer key during the objection window ascertained by the exam authority. After considering the challenges, PU UGLAW 2025 final answer will be prepared and released.

If you think the official answers for the PU UGLAW exam are wrong, you can challenge them. To do this, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Track the PU UGLAW website: The exam authority will announce when you can challenge the answers. Thus, you need to track the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
2. Submit your objections: Explain why you think the answers are wrong, and provide evidence. You might need to pay a fee.
3. Wait for the review: The officials will check your objections and decide if they're right.
4. Check the final answers and results: They will use the corrected answers to calculate your final score.

The SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates need 10% marks and candidates from all other categories need 15% marks. The minimum qualifying marks for each category is based on the category-based reservation criterion. There will be total 100 question in the exam carrying 1 for mark each. Thus, SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates will have to achieve 10 marks to pass the PU UGLAW exam. However, General category candidates need 15 marks to qualify for the exam.

To view your PU UGLAW 2025 result, go to the official UG LAW exam website of Panjab University at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Click on the link that says "View Entrance Test Result," then choose the "B.A. / B.Com (Hons.) LLB 5 Year Integrated Course - 2025" option. Enter your PU UGLAW 2025 roll number and click the "Show Result" button to check your result.

If two or more candidates received the same merit score, Panjab University will use the following process to determine their order in the merit list:

• Higher marks in Class 12 will result in a higher rank for candidates.
• Candidates who received higher grades in Class 10th will receive a higher rank if the tie remains.
• The candidate who is older will be given a higher rating if the tie is still not broken.
