PU UG Law Cut-off 2026: Panjab University, Chandigarh, will release the PU BA LLB 2026 and PU BCom LLB cut-off online after the exam at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. The exam authority will release the PU UG Law cut-off for all its participating institutes, UILS Chandigarh, PUSSGRC Hoshiarpur, and PURC Ludhiana separately. PU BCom LLB and PU BA LLB cut-off will comprise the information, including cut-off marks and ranks of candidates. The cut-off for PU UG Law 2026 will be based on marks secured in the PU BA LLB entrance exam and the qualifying exam. PU BA LLB Cut-off for each category will be released separately.
Once the PU UG Law examination concludes, PU exam authorities will open the admission form, different from the entrance exam application at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. The PU UG Law admission forms will be mandatorily filled by the aspiring candidates. The PU UG Law cut-off list will then be released considering the qualifying exam marks and PU UG Law entrance exam marks. Candidates securing ranks in the PU UG Law cut off will have to appear for the PU BA LLB counselling on the due date and time at the designated centres.

What is PU UG Law Cut-Off?
PU UG Law cut off 2026 and PU BA LLB/ PU BCom LLB cut off means the minimum marks required to secure a seat in the Panjab University, Chandigarh and its participating institutes. The cut off of PU UG Law depends on factors, such as PU UG Law entrance exam scores, qualifying exam scores, the number of students participating, difficulty level of the question paper. The total number of seats available for admission through PU UG Law exam is 300 for PU BA LLB and 180 seats are available for PU BCom LLB.

The cut-off for PU UG Law 2026 will be provided here once it is out on the official website. The cut-off list for each round of PU UG Law counselling will be released separately. PU UG Law Merit List 2026
The PU UG Law exam authority releases two merit lists, preliminary merit list and final merit list.
- Preliminary merit list: The University will first publish the Preliminary Merit List of the candidates on the basis of the Entrance Test only. The candidates who get the minimum marks in PU UGLAW 2025 entrance test are included in the preliminary merit list.
- Final merit list: The Final merit list is released after the candidates fill out and submit the admission form. This merit list is based on 50% weightage of the entrance test score and 50% weightage of the qualifying exam marks. Admissions in the courses are based on the final merit list only.
PU UG Law Counselling
PU UGLAW counselling 2026 is an offline process. The counselling process will commence after the PU UG Law cut-off list is declared. To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to fill out a separate admission form online. When the final merit list is released, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling rounds. Once the candidates find their names in the merit list, they need to attend PU UGLAW counselling in person at the designated counselling venues on the days mentioned on the counselling schedule released by the exam authority.
The candidate selected for admission will be required to carry the original certificates and pay the prescribed admission fees during counselling process.
