The two-year MSc The programme offered by Punjabi University in 16 specialisations. Out of all these, admission to three specialisations is offered via an entrance test conducted by the University. For the remaining thirteen specialisations, admission is based on merit scores in the qualifying exam. The basic eligibility criteria is a pass in BA/ BSc With a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the case of SC/ST & Physically Handicapped students).

Punjabi University is a state public university located in Patiala, Punjab. It was established in 1962 and is the second university in the world to be named after a language. Punjabi University has over 70 teaching and research departments under its umbrella. The disciplines offered are Arts, Humanities & Sciences. Hostel fees for Engineering Hostels (I. e. Band Singh Bahadur, Mai Bhago Hostel & Bebe Nanki) is INR 920 per month whereas for other Hostels it is INR 420 per month. There are six residential Hostels for boys and seven residential Hostels for girls. The Hostels have all modern amenities for comfortable living for 4000 students. The hostels are given on a merit basis only. The students of low-income groups can be given free accommodation in the University Hostels. Residents of a hostel, where a cooperative mess is being run shall have to pay INR 5000 in advance as a mess bill. This amount is refundable/adjustable as and when the student leaves the hostel or the mess is closed permanently.

To get admission into BSc courses offered at Punjabi University Patiala, candidates are required to qualify their Class 12 from Science stream with relevant subjects (according to the chosen specialisation selcted by candidates. For admission, candidates must have completed their higher senior secondary from CBSE, PSEB, ISC, UP Board,   Maharashtra HSC, MPBSE, Punjabi University Admission. Additionally, the university also accepts valid scores of CUET for admission. 

Punjabi University, Patiala cutoff 2024 has been released for UG and PG courses in the form of opening and closing scores. As per the last-round cutoff, the closing score varied between 22 and 110.97 wherein M.A.in Music-Instrumental is the toughest course to get into the Punjab University for the students belonging to the General All India Quota.

NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit cards till their exam date. The admit card will be released for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA released the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done. 

Yes according to the data available from the college website and by talking the students who are studying in this college I have found that School of Management Studies Punjabi University is a decent college as it provide a better placement for MBA students according to the data of 2020 it provides 88% students placed from the companies where a the highest package was offered was about 12 Lacs which is a decent this college has a first year fees of 90000 for MBA also this college as a very best faculty all are came from IIM and have cleared PhD they all teach very wisely and all of them are very helpful in nature also the college campus is very beautiful all around there is greenery which makes us feel very great overall I must said that this college is a decent in terms of MBA and if you are living near to this college or even in Punjab then hi highly recommend to do your Masters or MBA from Punjabi University thanks
