Placements: The placements are good. It is an average tier-2 college, and students mostly get placed. A good number of internships are also provided. It teaches us about many roles to become successful candidates. Most of the tests also happen, which helps us with our preparation.

Infrastructure: The campus is very small. The college is very strict, and they do not allow us to go anywhere during college hours. This is acceptable to the students. The college has a uniform and an ID card. The classrooms are good and spacious. The library is also supportive. The canteen facilities are good.

Faculty: The teaching is average, but teachers teach us well. The curriculum is good and covers everything required for engineering. There are qualified and knowledgeable faculty members. Exams are conducted properly and strictly. Almost all students pass.

GNIET College campus facilities and placement review.

Placements: Placements in our course were very bad. There was no placement cell. Only a few students got selected in our year. There were so many engineering colleges in Nagpur that provided good placements. The highest package in the CSE department was 5 LPA. The lowest was 2 LPA. Internships were not provided. Students had to arrange them on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was small. There were limited facilities in our college that were provided by the department. Wi-Fi was not present in our classes. The hostel facility was decent. A canteen was available, but there was limited variety of food available. The library was present and was quite good for studying.

Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified. They were knowledgeable and educated. Their teaching quality was decent. Students needed to self study to pass the semester exams. This course was not relevant for placements. However, passing the semester exams was not difficult. If students studied regularly and attended classes regularly, they could easily appear for the exams. The passing percentage was 45%.

GH Raisoni has the best labs!

Placements: Cognizant, Wipro, HCL, and likewise nearly 100 other IT companies visited our campus in 2026 to recruit students. On average, AI students were paid 8-10 LPA and that's the average for the last two years. The Placement Cell is perhaps the best, as they help students in and out with placement training.

Infrastructure: Our college has a huge campus and specifically, our department building has 5 floors. Every floor has multiple labs, and we also have a gym in our building. There's an indoor sports room too and thus all that one can ask for is available in our college. Only outsiders are allowed to take admission in hostels and the hostel fee is around 1 lakh a year, with a curfew time of 10 pm.

Faculty: To understand the concept, good faculty members are required, and luckily our college has them. We have the best AI faculty members who have developed the same for some organisations. Teaching skills are God-level, and connecting with them hardly takes time. We have one faculty member per 15 students, as I guess this is the student-to-faculty ratio of our college.

Other: Forum, Nexus, Jarvis and likewise, there are around 40-50 clubs in our college. Every year in March, we have our annual fest called Antragini.

Review of Hislop College from students' perspective.

Placements: We don't have any idea about placements. We don't expect any from college. I am studying for a UG degree, so the chances of placement are very low. There are common placements like TCS. I am in the final year of classes, so really I don't have any idea about placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. I don't live in a hostel so I don't have any idea about it I know that there is only a girls' hostel. There is no free public Wi-Fi for students. They don't provide any internet facility. We have a well-maintained sports ground.

Faculty: We have well-qualified teachers. The teaching staff is excellent. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. Our exams are conducted by the Nagpur University Board, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. There are 2 semesters in each year and when there are multiple semesters. If there are multiple semesters, when there is an even number of semesters, we get a different exam center, and when there is an odd number of semester exams, then we get a home center.

I would recommend joining here as it has good faculty, labs, etc., but one can face travel issues.

Placements: 60-80 percent is the placement rate. CSE / IT students' placement is decent, whereas it's tougher for mechanical, electrical, etc. The highest package is 14 LPA- 16 LPA. There is a 6-month internship rule. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Bajaj often visit the college. Almost every student does an internship and gets placed on-campus as well as off-campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent and well-maintained, offering all facilities like labs, library, games, ground, etc. Wi-Fi connection is a little bit poor. Washrooms are good, but maintenance is average. There are many small canteens. There are 3-4 Xerox shops where you can buy stationery.

Faculty: Exams are under teachers' observation and fair. Teachers have good knowledge and motivate you. The course is relevant and subjects like Maths, communication, coding, economics, and aptitude help you become industry-ready. Internal exams are easy but semester exams are hard.

Other: CSE has scope in the future, I found it the best decision. The college is known for its events and celebrities often visit here. The campus is very huge. It is surrounded by greenery and fresh air but it's in an industrial area. College supports sports and extracurricular activities. It also conducts seminars and hackathons where you must participate.

Absolutely satisfied with this college.

Placements: 100% of placements were provided in pool campuses and off-campus. The average package was 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, Genpact, Byju's, and Juspay. It was compulsory to have an internship. Students completed internships in BSNL, ARC Technologies, and IT Network Hub.

Infrastructure: The overall structure of the course was pretty good. Regarding hostels, the infrastructure was very good. The hostel was in the city. Catering services were included. The surrounding area added more to it.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were helpful in teaching subjects. They also helped with any problems regarding health issues and personal things. They were highly qualified staff. Most of them were Ph.D. holders. The course was curriculum-relevant. The difficulty of the semester exams was great in the 5th and 6th semesters. The passing percentage was above 80. The teaching staff was really experienced in their subjects.
