Great CSE and good placement, good faculty and good future, good labs and great outcome.
Placements: Recently, the highest package is 65 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Microsoft, PayPal, Deloitte, and many. 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in companies like Amazon, PayPal, Dell, and TCS. The roles are Full Stack development, Data analyst, and Cloud engineering.
Infrastructure: CSE has high-speed Wi-Fi and multiple modern computer labs. Smart AC classrooms and a well-equipped, big library and digital courses like IEEE, Springer, NPTEL. Hostels are clean with Wi-Fi, AC and non-AC options, laundry and good security. Mess food is average, and there is an excellent medical facility 24/7.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Most faculty help with lab doubts and projects. Curriculum is updated and industry-relevant. Includes DSA, DSBS, OS, etc. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is very high.
Other: I chose it because I am interested in computers and coding. It offers a strong career option. I wish the course had even more specific sessions and updated more industry tools. The campus has big fests like Aarush and Milan. A diverse crowd and good connectivity.

Everything is there. You need to put in effort and hardwork to get what ever you want.
Placements: You get all major companies into the campus even though it is a tier 2 campus but you get complete opportunity to get placed. But only one negative here that you have very high competition as it's a private college so you should make yourself stand out and get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise SRM would be the best college. You have everything, you name it, it is there on the campus. From courts to pool, smart labs to entrepreneur space you have everything you can utilise those resources in the best way possible. You have opportunity to utilise it. Smart rooms and Wi-Fi connection are good.
Faculty: Teachers are okay just like any other engineering college. Semester exams are easy to score if you go through PYQs, etc. To be industry ready they teach DSA apart from it most important subjects you need to study.
Other: Fests are amazing. Campus has huge diversity which is its pro and con both so choose according to your priority.

Good placements in 2025, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 88.5% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies recruited are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more. Internship percentage is around 80% in companies like Dr. Reddy's, Avigen, and Manna Biotech. Research scientist, biomedical engineer, bioinformatics analyst, bioprocess engineer, and quality control officer are roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24X7. The classrooms and labs have very good infrastructure. College has a very big library, which is a real value for money. The facilities in the hostel are a bit for me, but the food is very good. Medical and sports facilities are great.
Faculty: The quality of the teachers is very good. Faculty members are very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful all the time. The course curriculum makes the student industry-ready, and it's relevant too. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and the pass percentage is around 60%.
Other: Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., are conducted. They are very good at SRM.

MDS in Periodontology - Batch of 2023
Offered by SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital University Main Campus
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a good college for BDS and a hospital.
Placements: For a dental college, there are zero placements, but the engineering campus has abundant placements, so the question is not valid for a dental college. The internship is a mandatory procedure to do a compulsory rotation internship within the college after 4 years of study to obtain your degree Certificate. You have the option of doing your internship at any other college (dental) by breaking the bond with the college after payment, and after the internship completion, you can obtain your degree certificate.
Infrastructure: The surroundings of the college are pretty great, it has everything in its locality. There is a gym, restaurant, hotels, turf, Game Centre, cafes and a lot of exploring options around the college. I stayed in the hostel for 3 years. They only have a very limited number of AC rooms. And you cannot get a single room. The food quality is terrible. There are many departments like the pharmacology department, pathology department, biochemistry department, microbiology depth, moral pathology department, Endodontics depth, prosthodontics department, orthodontics department.
Faculty: It's a good course only, they provide lots of research projects for the development of the students, and they also give quality teaching. This course is perfect for people who pursue a medical. Speaking of staff, most of them are good, and some of them are very bad. They do help the students to do better, but some of them are targeting us and internationally failing the students. There will be 6 internal assessments in a year (except final year, which is split into 2 semesters.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
3.6
3Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a very expensive college.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd year. There are many students who get good packages in the 3rd year itself. In the 2025 batch, the highest package was 60 LPA. The average package was 10 LPA. Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture, Amazon and many other companies visit SRM. Internships are mostly off-campus, but companies like Adobe and Spine Labs do visit for internships. There are many projects from 3rd year which may lead to internships. The faculty is very good and helps with internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is very big and beautiful. There are many places to eat on campus, such as Subway, Domino's, etc. Hostels are very clean. There are vending machines in every hostel, but they are not stocked properly. The mess food is very good. There are free gyms available, but the machines are not good and they are very crowded. The library is also crowded, and it is hard to find a place to sit. They have well-maintained facilities for sports like a basketball court, volleyball court, Gyms and so on.
Faculty: Faculty is very good. There are professors who are IIT PhDs and who have worked abroad. The faculty-to-student ratio is good. The faculty-student relationship is good. It is very easy to contact your professors. Each class has its own faculty advisory and academic advisory. There are too many exams, but they start out easy. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions.

Well-rounded, satisfied, and good placement record with a good resolve to have ragging banned.
Placements: Almost 100% of the total students at SRM IST are placed every year. The average package is 8.62 LPA, and the highest package is 52 LPA. Almost all students also got internships in 3-4 years. Some good students got them in 2nd year itself which is impressive.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is Wi-Fi connectivity everywhere inside the campus. Also, the classrooms are air-conditioned and have smart boards. Library has a systematic check-in and check-out time data so you can study late at night despite your hostel being at just 9 or 6-7.
Faculty: Teachers are surprisingly very interactive, and make the class attentive. They are really knowledgeable in their respective fields. The curriculum is what the industry requires from us so that we are industry-ready. The semester exams are reasonably difficult, and the invigilation is strict.
Other: I chose this course as I myself personally have been into coding since my late childhood days.
