SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech and M.Tech based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the entrance exam.

To sit for the respective exams, candidates must apply for the exams priorly and make a preparation strategy to ace the exam.

Q: Can I join SRM without JEE?

Yes, candidates can get admission to BTech without JEE Main score. Admission to BTech course is only based on SRMJEEE score. Candidates are required to pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate as per the minimum eligibility criteria. Further, aspirants must qualify for SRM JEE exam with a valid score. For online counselling, candidates are informed the details through email or text messages. To participate in SRMJEEE counselling in online mode (SRM counselling), candidates have to register and pay the required fee.

It is a very good college to study in, and we can choose it without any confusion.

Placements: The placement rate is about 70% or above. Students are placed mainly in fields such as digital marketing and IT. Eligibility for placements is generally 75% or above with no arrears.

Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure. It includes classrooms, labs, and a library. Hostel is very clean. Food provided is good for consumption. The college is very supportive of sports. They gives extra care to sports activities..

Faculty: Teachers are very good at teaching and help students score good marks. The pass percentage requirement is above 35%. As a student at SRM, teachers help prepare students for the industry, as they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers also train students for campus placements and examinations. Teachers teach every topic clearly, which helps students score well in semester examinations. They also regularly train students for internships.

This college is the best place for pursuing the engineering course.

Placements: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers the placement to the students who fit in there placement criteria and even after fitting that criteria many students refuse the placement to pursue the higher studies and don't go to the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology is very good; almost all the classrooms on the campus are air conditioned and the facility of a library is available here, although the food in the canteen is not as good as expected .

Faculty: As I am pursuing Bachelor of business administration in the SRM institute of Science and Technology, here the faculty are very in teaching and the course is relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are not really as tough as expected, and most of the students in here gets passed

My college life in a nutshell :).

Placements: Since we are the first batch, I do not know much about it, but the average package starts at 5–6 LPA for a BBA general. If you perform pretty well academically and have the skills needed, you can earn more. Around 90% of students always get placed.

Infrastructure: There's Wi-Fi always, the labs are well-equipped too, and the and the classrooms are okayish. I live in a PG, but according to my friend, the food in the hostel is the best, they have a wide range of varieties every day, and there's a huge scope for sports since they conduct many events.

Faculty: I'd say, It's pretty much different for each faculty; not everyone is as helpful, but in my experience, it was only a few teachers who were quite qualified; sometimes you'd get teachers who aren't interested at all; it has to do a lot with the attendance of the class too; less often they'd speak in their native language, which is Tamil; and since I hail from a state where we have our own language, I do face difficult understanding, but most of them are supportive of you and would love to help you.

Other: I chose this course particularly because it is a mix of the best of both the world's data science and business administration.

My college faculty is good.

Placements: Placements: 50% of students secure placements. The salary range varied from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies, including Infosys, Cognizant, Tata Group, etc. Program analysis is included in this course. In my college, 50–70% of students secure placements .

Infrastructure: The facilities in our college and our courses include free Wi-Fi, well-equipped laboratories, clean water and well-maintained restrooms. The hostel provides high-speed Wi-Fi available at my college and air-conditioned bus services for students.

Faculty: SRM boasts a faculty mostly consisting of postgraduate students who are knowledgeable, friendly and student-oriented. The curriculum is relevant to the industry, ensuring students are prepared for the professional language and providing all facilities available in my college and smart classrooms.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The placement percentage of our college is 100%. Top MNCs visit our college to recruit students. The salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 7 LPA. They offer salary packages based on skills. Top roles offered are business administrator, business manager, and business analyst.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. The central library is available in our college. The library is spacious and good. Our HOD is very responsible. Our college has a sports quota. Our college has a medical college and hospital.

Faculty: Our teachers are good and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good. They are well-experienced. They have good knowledge. The pass percentage is 40%. Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Goldman Sachs, Delloite, and E&Y are the top recruiting companies. About 90% of students got internships at various companies. Manager is the top role in BBA. There are various roles offered based on the personal interests of students.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-ventilated and very comfortable. The library has various books to choose from. Study materials available in the library aid in understanding the concepts easily. The quality of food in the SRM hostel is good. In case of any medical emergency or medical assistance, they give good care and help students.
