Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is the best thing according to me. We have the Nava Nalanda library top 3 in India. Wi-Fi network is there on the campus with 5G+ speed. The hostel food is best in Thapar, no need to go to the canteen. There is a big hospital on the campus for medical facilities. There are several playgrounds dedicated to their games.
Faculty: Here, some faculty members are very helpful. But some are very rude about certain things. Teaching quality is better than other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant but when we prepare for the interview it doesn't match at all. Semester exams are not that tough according to me. If you study 3 or 4 days before the exams, you can easily clear. 34% is the passing criteria.
Other: According to me, college gives me the best placements compared to other colleges that's why I chose this college and course. I think they have to change their syllabus and update it according to the present time. Events are overhyped here. There are few events like Urja and Saturnalia otherwise, no more events are entertained.

The facilities that are provided for our course are labs, classrooms, libraries, and activity rooms. The quality of facilities is very good including laundry, cleaning, and complain services.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. Some teachers are brilliant. The pass percentage is that you have to secure 35 in total in both MST and EST including practical, theory, exams, and everything. Time management is the main difficulty. The course curriculum is average.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in the CS field. The curriculum needs to be updated, and the rest everything is good.

The average package is around 5.2 LPA and the highest package is 12.3 LPA. The whole placement scenario for MCA department revolves around factor of computation with BE students and skill set. Around 60–70% of students placed on campus and remaining either go off campus or pursue higher studies. The college gives students the freedom to do internships. I did an internship at HCL and was later placed at Tech Mahindra .
Infrastructure: There is also a food festival and an Urja event, which are very famous. Thapar University has a central library named New Nalanda Library, which is a very mesmerizing and aesthetic piece of infrastructure constructed with the help of international architecture. The central library has a lot of books and journals, as well as a very specific sitting and reading area with barcode security. There are lots of dongs roaming around the university, which is annoying. The hostel fees range from 47k at the lowest to 80k at the highest level. Hostel timing is a big issue and 8:15 is the last in line; after this time, you are prohibited from entering the hostel. Mess food is good as compared to other PGs; you can avail of different options. In addition, we have Cos Market, Nirvana Meditation Park, and many cafeterias.
Faculty: Faculty members are good; they are enough to teach large batches like us. Faculty have higher degrees along with experience in the field of teaching. Some teachers heavily rely on PPT and online teaching material. In the semester, there are two theory exams and one MCQ exam, then a lab evaluation, and then we have to score well to clear the exam. The course is in line with industry, and I think it is a perfectly balanced course syllabus.
Other: I wish I could change 75% of my attendance at college. But it is good that I spend a lot of time and am more attached to college.

The college has a very good placement and faculty members.
Placements: Placements are very good at Thapar, and approximately 20 students are placed from MCA in the previous year. The highest salary offered is approximately Rs. 8 LPA. The average salary is about Rs. 7 LPA. Amazon, Samsung and such dream companies come here. There is also a placement cell in Thapar, which is very useful for each and every student.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available to every student and, by providing their user ID and password, they can access the Wi-Fi anywhere in the university. The classrooms are well designed, and at the library, all the work is done online. Also, you can even get a slot booked for your book if it is not available so that when it becomes available, you can check out your book as you will be receiving a message on your phone and a mail also. Also, Mac labs are also there, and it is an awesome experience to do work in those labs. Best quality of food is available at many places in the campus. Almost, each and everything is available here. Hostel rooms are also awesome. Also, no issues are being faced by me.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very much helpful, and they are always available to help the students in any situation. They even a take personal doubt session from each student when they require it. They also use projectors to teach more efficiently to the students. Also, the ratio of the student to teacher is 50:1. Doing MCA in Thapar is like my dream come true.
Other: Each month, more than one event occurs in the college which enhances the student's interest in the curricular activities.

Very good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: All the major companies which are dream companies for many like Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, etc. with salary package ranging from 4 LPA to 22 LPA visit the campus every year.
The placement rate is more than 90 percent.
A lot of students got placement abroad directly.
Infrastructure: Well-furnitured and equipped classrooms with lots of modern amenities are provided by the university. All the classrooms have projectors and sound proofing for ease of learning.
TU is one of the very few universities that provides ERP SAP courses and provide means to work on them.
Tennis, football, hockey, swimming pool, synthetic running track, etc. are provided by the university.
A dream place to study.
Faculty: 90% faculty is well-qualified and are very good at their profession but everywhere there are exceptions, in the case of TU which is 10%.
Every faculty member has at least a Ph.D. or double Ph.D.
They help students learn the core of any subject. The focus is mostly on excellence rather than success which leads to brilliant mind produced every year in different fields by the University.
Other: The faculty is very helpful and the syllabus is very well structured by them to make sure we learn the most competitive technologies in the market.
Due to highly qualified teachers and syllabus, a lot of big brands prefer TU students.

Placements: The placements are Good. Our previous batch's placement was very good. Near about 80% of the students were placed. The highest was 10 lakhs, the lowest was 2.5 lakhs and the average 3.5 lakhs. Blackrock, Fidelity, MAQ ,Infosys,TCS and many more companies came to our college. More than 80% students got an internship from the college. The highest stipend was Rs. 15000, average Rs. 10000 and the lowest was Rs.6000.
Infrastructure: All Campus Is WiFi .classrooms are Too Cool..
