Yes, Thapar University does offer M.Tech courses for a duration of over two years, divided into four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. Note: In case the MSc is a qualifying exam, the vacant seats (if any) shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 50% weightage to BSc marks and 50% weightage to MSc marks (up to the end of the pre-final year). An overall minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/industry-sponsored) in MSc shall be required to be eligible for admission.

Yes, candidates appearing in their final exam for the BTech degree can apply for an M.Tech at Thapar University. However, such candidates have to submit their undertaking at the time of counselling stating that they are applying at their own risk, as their result of the final exam has not been declared, and ensure that they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters. Further, the undertaking also demands that students not expect any backlog in their final exam.
Moreover, candidates must produce their proof of passing the qualifying examination with the minimum aggregate required, i.e., 60% (55% for reserved categories),  before December 31, 2025. Failing to provide proof shall cancel their admission. 

Yes, candidates can pay the Thapar University M.Tech application fee offline. In case the candidate is paying the application fee offline, they are required to send the printout of the application form and must produce it at the time of the interview.
