As per the NIT Trichy ranking 2023, the institute is ranked number nine under the “Engineering” category. Additionally, the institute offers MTech course across popular specialisations such as Chemical Engineering, CSE, Data Analytics, Thermal Power Engineering, etc. The placement percentage for PG courses in 2022 was 92.9%.  To get admission to M.Tech at NIT Trichy, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
