Our college provides a great infrastructure and the latest facilities.

Placements: Around 35-40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Major companies do not visit our college to hire ECE students. Students got placed in Intel through the college-based internships. Don't rely on college, and you have to find a job on your own.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are of top-class. Our college has a very good infrastructure. The hostels are good, and the food served in the hostel is very good with a lot of variety. They listen to students' needs. It had loads of variety every day, and you will never feel like skipping breakfast.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and qualified. They had high knowledge of their domains. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum is also good, and it made me excel in my field and provide practical knowledge. Our college provided great teachers for my subjects.

Best university for those looking for good, technical knowledge and wonderful campus life.

Placements: It's a well-known fact that Thapar University is known for its quality placements for students who are graduating or post-graduating from the institute. University has well-established CILP department that looks into matters related to placements. All my senior batch students were placed with the reputed companies, most of Bangalore origin with few in Chandigarh region. 10 students from our batch of 22 students in VLSI got placed in the 3rd semester at a package of 30 LPA in Intel. I too got placed in Mohali as a patent analyst with a package of 25 LPA in TT Consultants. University has track record of 100% placements. The highest package offered for our batch was 10 LPA whereas the average package varies from 5-6.5 LPA. The recruiters visiting the campus include Deloitte, SanDisk, Accenture, Lakshya Institute, Aakash Institute, Intel, TCS, LPU, Snapdeal, Paytm, Hero, Motto Corp, Reliance, Dell, Microsoft and many more. The profiles offered varied from technical (patent analyst, software engineer, telecom engineer) to teaching profiles (associate and assistant professors). 90% of the students even got internship offers at reasonable packages.

Infrastructure: Thapar has one of the best infrastructure facilities. The campus is well connected with Wi-Fi and has a well-established air-conditioned library. The labs are equipped with all the necessary world-class facilities and trained instructors. The lecture halls are very well-designed and furnished ones. The hostel rooms are no less than 3-star hotel rooms. Good quality and healthy food are available at mess and canteens. The COS complex is one of the attractions at the campus. Thapar has several playgrounds for games like hockey, football, lawn, tennis and basketball. There is also a well-functioning dispensary available on the campus. I am fully satisfied with the facilities offered during the course.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are from foreign universities or IITs with hands-on experience in modern teaching methodology. All the staff members were very helping and cooperative. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40. The course curriculum truly caters to the current industry needs with a proper emphasis on practical knowledge. The curriculum is designed to assess the students all -round development and there is a tutorial for each subject which stresses on solving numerical from various foreign books. Various workshops were organised in Tan Auditorium to get friendly with the current trends in the industry.

Other: The campus is in the heart of the Royal City Patiala and is well-connected through road and rail. The surroundings are very pleasant with greenery all around. There are various scholarships available to meritorious students. Being GATE qualified I received the stipend from AICTE. The campus crowd is very impressive with students coming from pan India and also from neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Saturnalia (the annual techno-cultural fest of Thapar) is worth watching. Many students from North states like Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh attend the festival. There is a place called Nirvana where you come close to nature, and the view is relaxing and calms both the body and the mind. Various cultural and competitive events are organised from time to time. I would say that there's a lot one can do when on the campus. Swimming facilities are also available with proper instructors. Affordable gym facility is available for those interested. The courses offered are bit expensive ones.

Placements: All most 90% of the students got placement in UG, and 50% of the PG students got placements. The college environment is very good. All guys who have above 6 GPA got placed in this college. You will ensure your success here. You get placement in top companies of the world.

Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure. There are cricket ground, football ground and different study blocks. The study blocks are best. There are not of laboratories and equipment in the college you get practical training along with theoretical sessions. It will give you a wide exposure in the commercial market. You will be ready for upcoming challenges in life.

Faculty: Th courses are up to the mark. Best faculty needs improvement in fees. Best faculty members teach you with advanced technologies. You will always be updated with market requirements. This is the best place to study. You can enjoy your learning here. The faculty members will support you in any required way they can help you.

Other: Thapar University is the best technical university, located in Patiala. It was established in 1956. It offers graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various discipline. It has a widespread lush green campus. Thapar campus life, in fact, remains an unforgettable memory for me. As for as campus placement is concerned, most of the MNCs like ST Micro-electronics, Wipro, Infosys, GE, Google, PCL, SCL(Mohali) etc. visited the campus every year for placement. The average salary is ranging from rupees 12-15 lakhs per annum. Thapar faculty has a sound knowledge of their concerned subjects. The faculty has many international research journal publications and in fact, 90% of the faculty is Ph.D. in various subjects’ specialization. So I would like to recommend this university to all my engineering aspirants for their bright career.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. I am satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Some student gets an internship, and very few students get a placement at the college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA in Intel. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for placements is Intel. About 5-10 out of 30 students got placed. Some students apply for a PhD course. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are good. Labs are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Classrooms are not air-conditioned, and classroom structure needs to be improved. Food served in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports and games are also good here.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is above average. Teachers are helpful. Many teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant. But the course in our college further needs to get improved so that we have higher chances of placements.
