Best college for student experience and networking.
Placements: Mithibai's BMS is really preferred by the recruiting companies, some of them being - Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Case, Barclays (from this year onwards), KPMG, etc. I am not aware about the exact number, but one of my connections got placed in Barclays this summer with a decent package. Another senior of mine was selected by JP Morgan Case during the placement round for a month internship, and then was later offered a job. Roles offered depend on whether you've chosen Marketing or Finance specialisation.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are all air conditioned, spacious (50-70 students easily), equipped with smart & whiteboards. There's a college Wi-Fi available for students to connect to on the campus. We have two libraries, one on the ground floor and one on the second floor. Both are fully air-conditioned and have amazing vibes and seating capacity. Sadly, there's no hostel facility for outstation students. Nevertheless, they can easily find a good hostel/PG near the college itself, in the vicinity of Vile Parle (east/West), Andheri, etc. The canteen on campus is a must-visit. It serves amazing food. Also, there is a gymkhana on the 6th floor which is really good!
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them have Ph.D. and really helpful. It's not just simple textbook learning. We have real-world case studies, examples, presentation, and projects. These things make BMS course more memorable. Students are required to go on field visits, start networking, improve on their communication skills, public speaking, etc. Exams are not difficult, if you simply try to study/memorize it as a burden. Try to understand, apply it in context to the real world scenarios. The pass percentage for a 60 marks paper is 21, and similarly for the 30 marks paper it's 11 or 10.
Other: I personally didn't really want to study in Mithibai, because I was a nerd and wanted NM College. But Mithibai proved me wrong! I met people from different states, backgrounds, ideologies, lives, and whatnot. People are amazing here, I swear. You will find so many students who are building, creating, innovating something new, and trying to open their own startups. There are students who juggle between their student-athlete lives. About the Fest, Kshitij, it is magical! Come to Mithibai for Kshitij ( I mean, not Kshitij being your sole purpose, but yes).

Mithibai College is where one can have lifelong memories.
Placements: Mithibai College is known for academics but not so much for placements. I am in my final year, and some companies have been invited. Mine is B.Com in Banking and Finance, but all the offers I have are from other sectors. So, core placements may not be guaranteed at Mithibai, but placements do happen every year.
Infrastructure: Accommodating three colleges in one building is a myth in itself. However, the maximum space in the building is for Mithibai students. Some facilities are common, like the library, indoor sports room, and canteen. The college doesn't even have enough parking space, so forget about hostels.
Faculty: Brilliant will not be enough to describe our faculty members. Kudos to them for teaching all of us to be well-rounded at all costs. They all hold postgraduate degrees, and some have Ph.D. degrees too. Each of our faculty members has at least a decade of teaching experience, and thus, on all fronts, they are ticked.
Other: Mithibai College has not only produced excellent students but celebrities too. There are societies that support students' passions as well.

If you are looking for a college with low fees, this is good, but you may face placement issues.
Placements: The average package offered in the Civil Engineering course is moderate. Even if 30 students are eligible for placements, there is only a 10% chance of getting placed. So, it is better to upgrade your skills if you are joining this college. If there are 50 students in one class, only 8 to 10 students get placed, and the packages are also average.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, mess, and medical facilities are not available, but the classrooms and library are good enough. For sports, you have to bring your own equipment. Even if you bring equipment from home, no students are interested in playing with you. You and your friends can enjoy sports activities together. A ground is available, but it is not meant for any specific sport.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good enough. They never help you if you are not a regular student. During admission, they say there is no problem if you want to study through distance learning or attend only the exams, but faculty members do not treat students that way. Seminars are also conducted to make students industry-ready, but there is no practical training.
Other: If students do not attend college lectures, how will there be a crowd at college events. Extracurricular activities, events, and fests are very poor, although scholarships are available and fees are low.

Good college to take admission for a bright future.
Placements: I am in the placement cell of VPPCOE. I see students getting placed as early as the 7th semester. However, not everyone gets placed immediately. The process takes time. The college conducts mock interviews every week for fourth-year students to help them practise and boost their confidence. It also conducts mock placement drives, including aptitude tests, machine tests, and mock interviews on the college campus. The college also provides Campus to Corporate (C2C) courses for Rs. 3,500 for three years (36 months).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is neither too big nor too small. The college provides two turf grounds, one volleyball court, and a small yard. The hostel facilities are not very good because the college is in Sion, while the hostel is in Kandivali. This is the main drawback. Otherwise, everything about the college is amazing.
Faculty: Faculty members are not equally good with everyone. Some show bias. Apart from that, scoring well in exams is manageable because the teachers explain the subjects nicely. Around 70% of faculty members are good. The exams are conducted properly. Last year, when we were under Mumbai University (MU), the examination experience was very good. Now, the college is autonomous, but the exam difficulty and overall examination process are still good.

Watumull review from a third-year student.
Placements: The highest package is 7 LPA. The average package is 3–3.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2–2.5 LPA. According to public reports, around 2–4% of students get placed through campus placements. No companies come to recruit regularly. Top roles offered include Software Developer, Data Analyst, Code Editor, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. The classrooms have AC. The library is nice. Water and sanitary pads are provided. All other facilities are also available. The cleanliness is maintained. The washrooms are good. There are common rooms for girls and boys. There is also a game room. A separate office section is available. Overall, facilities are great.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They guide students through different situations. The teaching quality is average. However, the new teachers are good. The curriculum is very relevant. The college does help students become industry-ready. Certain subjects help with this. The exams are moderate. The passing percentage is mostly 80–90%.
Other: I chose this college because of its AI-related and tech fields. It is also near my house. The college should do more practical work. Students should be involved in more activities. Some fun activities should also be organized. The fests are very boring.

4.4
4.0Placements3.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
An affordable college with great professors, opportunities, and career growth.
Placements: Placements were decent for the 2026 B.Com batch. 55–60% of students looking for jobs got placed. Around 70% got help with internships and articleships. Students preparing for CA, CS, or CMA do not unnecessarily go for regular jobs. KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Zomato, and other mid-size firms offered opportunities. Most roles were at the executive level. They were mainly in finance, accounts, taxation, and risk. The average package was around 4–5 LPA. The highest packages were around 7–8 LPA. CA students also got good articleship opportunities with Big 4 firms, especially KPMG, along with other mid-size CA firms.
Infrastructure: Facilities were average overall. Classrooms had old wooden benches. Some were not properly painted or cleaned. A few fans did not work well. The classrooms were not air-conditioned. The library had a good collection of books. However, it had limited seating. The computer lab and Fintech lab were good and worked well. There was also a seminar hall and an auditorium. There was no proper hostel or canteen. The Nescafe mainly had ready-to-eat and junk food. Sports facilities were available in the Gymkhana but were average. There was no dedicated medical facility on campus.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful and well-qualified. They were approachable whenever we needed help. Classes were conducted regularly and on time. The teaching quality was also good. PDFs and videos were available on Google Classroom. Regular quizzes and tests were conducted. The curriculum was relevant. It covered topics that were useful for the industry. Other co-curricular activities also helped us understand the subjects better. Semester-end exams were not very difficult if we attended classes regularly. Around 90–95% of students generally passed.
Other: I chose this course mainly because of the good teaching quality and friendly professors. The college environment was also positive. The student crowd was well-behaved. There was no ragging or physical punishment. If I could improve anything, I would focus on the infrastructure. Classrooms, benches, mess, and food also need improvement. The college also had events like Enigma and finance events. It had forums like Hiking, NSS, Gujarati Club, NCC, etc. Students could participate in these activities and earn credit points. Good academic performance could help students get scholarships.
