- Admissions are open for UG (BCA/BCom/BBA) and PG (MCA/MCom/MBA) - online distance education courses.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for admission to the MBA and MCA courses will be held on May 14, 2026. For the ME/MTech course, the exam is scheduled for May 23, 2026.
- The KCET 2026 registration window for admission to the BE/BTech course is now closed. The KCET exam 2026 will be held on Apr 23 and Apr 24, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

University of Mysore offers two-year M.Tech course divided into four semesters. For the holistic development of the students, the university has a separate cell called the Directorate of Physical Education, which looks after the sports-related events. The University of Mysore sports facilities include three cricket grounds, four tennis courts, a cinder track, three basketball courts, etc. It also has Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Gangotri Glades, and three indoor stadiums.
