Utkal University - heritage and inside things.
Placements: This is a very good college with a good placement record, and most students are placed in management posts. The highest package was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. Top companies like Godrej, Mahendra, and Wipro do come for placement drives. Almost all students were provided with internships.
Infrastructure: As it's a very old university, the infrastructure is very poor, and the hostel condition is relatively very unhygienic and bad. The only positive point is that the food is affordable. The classrooms are also not up to the mark, and labs are also very old and with outdated equipment and no facility for modern labs.
Faculty: Facilities are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but they lack teaching methods, due to which it makes lectures boring. The curriculum is also outdated, and it doesn't make students industry-ready, due to which students suffer a lot. Semesters can be passed easily by studying overnight, and the questions are also known to us.
Other: Utkal University is a very reputed university, due to which I chose this course. The university needs renovation, modern infrastructure, and modern teaching methods. Various events and fests are conducted, and industrial tours are also conducted at the university.

Placements: Nice placement opportunity, and now companies come into the college for placement every day. Also, new people come for field trips in the college. The placement cell is great and functions well, providing jobs to many freshers in our college. Recently, Wipro visited our campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good and allows you to get many opportunities. The university comes with 2 different libraries: one e-library and one traditional old library, which provides books related to the course that are required for studying. The hostel is good too and provides various needs for the students. It has good Wi-Fi facilities too, and for girls, it's very strict with a curfew time in the hostel, i.e., 7 pm sharp.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is very great and provides quality education to the students, which is needed for the students to study well. The classes are good, with projectors in each and every class, and the teachers help with the presentation of the students to face the upcoming office life.

I have no idea about the package, but some companies seriously recruit students from the college for internships and jobs. However, the academics are not informed about it.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are affordable and offer a large coverage. The amount of money they charge for it is very low considering the environment. Boys' mess is not available, but the girls' mess is well-maintained. There are restrictions in the girls' hostel, no one can go out on an outing after 7:00 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and worthy. Classes are held regularly. The class timings start from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM for the first year and 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the second year. There are extracurricular activities like sports meets and an annual event called Cross Road for fun among the students.
Other: I chose this course because it's one of the most prestigious colleges in the area. Faculty is good, and the teachers provide moral support to the students. Classes can be improved. Scholarships are available in the organization, and students can avail them.
