VIT Bhopal BTech is a full-time course offered in various specialisations. There are five major specialisations offered under the course. However, some additional specialisations are offered under Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The duration of these courses is four years. The institute also offers integrated MTech programmes lasting five years.
BTech admission at VIT Bhopal is based on the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). It is a computer-based test conducted by the university to shortlist candidates for BTech courses offered at all VIT campuses. To be eligible for admission, VIT Bhopal BTech aspirants need a rank between #1 and #1,50,000 in the entrance exam. Further, they need 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board. Applicants born on or after 1 July 2004 are eligible to apply for VITEEE this year. The date of birth mentioned in the High School/SSC/Class X certificate will be treated as final and authentic. Candidates must present the original certificate as proof of age during counselling or admission; otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.

Yes, VIT Bhopal campus is safe for girls and boys. The college campus is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It has a good connection with roads and public transports. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to keep a check on students safety.
