The university doesn’t provide any scholarships to the students. However, a portal JNTU World gives the list of scholarships given by the government and how can their students apply for them. The Government of Andhra Pradesh provides financial aid to BC, SC, ST, Minority, EBC, and Kapu students in the form of Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF) and Maintenance costs (MTF). Minority Scholarships
- Minority Scholarship mostly known as MOMA Scholarship is one of the most popular scholarship programs around the country.
- This scholarship program is provided to the minority community students only. Every year 60000 minority group students benefit from this scholarship.
- An amount of 30000 is given to the students directly to their account i.e. direct benefit transfer (DBT).
Telangana E-Pass Scholarship
- The government provides post-matriculation scholarships to the students.
- For the scholarship student must have a class X pass.
- Post-matriculation studies include ITI, Polytechnic, professional, graduate, post-graduate, and PhD courses.
- Candidates from backward Castes are eligible such as ST or SC with an Annual Income Less than 2 Lakhs.
- Scholarship students have to maintain 75% of marks in each semester.
- Students for part-time courses are not eligible for this position.
- Scholarships are not provided to the students joining training courses.

JNTUK Infrastructure
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada campus, is spread over 110 acres of land. The institute has a a library, auditorium, seminar/ conference halls, guest houses, hostels, canteen, internet and wifi, computer labs, bank & fire station. The following facilities are provided by the JNTU Kakinada:
Infrastructure: The college houses 40 lecture halls, four drawing halls, laboratories, a computer centre, and a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 150 people. Each department has its own library and seminar hall in its building. A Powerhouse with a 140 KV generator connected to all buildings, including hostels.
Hostels: The college presently has 4 hostel blocks, two for boys and two for girls. Hostels can accommodate about 820 boys and 575 girls. Hostels are provided with the best facilities for the daily needs of students.
Library: The college library consists of nearly 61,414 books, about 126 Journals, and 4000 online journals.
Sports and Recreation: The college has adequate facilities for sports and games. There are facilities for playing cricket, football, table tennis and other games. A running track is also available. There is a multi-gym on the campus.
Other facilities: Other facilities include an auditorium, guest house, bank, staff quarters, canteen, and medical facilities with qualified doctors and dispensing.

Yes, JNTUK does offer M.Tech courses for a duration of over two-years. The university offers Master in Technology courses through the university and its affiliated colleges. To get admission into JNTUK M.Tech specialisations, candidates are required to qualify for their BTech/ BE and equivalent degrees with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
