For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was released across multiple BTech specialisations in the AI quota. Among all the specialisations, CSE stands out as the most chosen one for admission. The first and last-round closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering admission was 481. The second most competitive BTech specialisation was Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, with first and last-round closing ranks of 677 and 680, respectively. Besides BTech, the cutoff was also released for admission to the BArch course. The Jee Advanced closing cutoff for the same stood at 19885.

Q:   What are the steps in the counselling process of the JEE Advanced 2025 after clearing the cutoff?

IIT Roorkee JEE Advanced 2025 Counselling: Steps to follow
Step 1: Registration: As the first step, candidates must register for JEE Advanced 2023 counselling and seat allotment. Students will need to use their JEE Main roll number and JEE Advanced password as credentials while logging in.
Step 2: Filling and Locking of Choice: After registration, candidates will have to select the college and courses of their choice from the available options and lock them.
Step 3: Allotment of Seats: The authorities will conduct mock seat allotments for candidates as per the choices they make. Candidates will be allowed to change their choices after mock allotment. Seats will be allotted to students as per their merit, preferred choices, category and availability.
Step 4: Reporting at Centres: After the allotment of seats, candidates will have to download their allotment letter and have to pay the seat acceptance fee. They will need to carry the requisite documents to the respective centres for verification.
