Panjab Uni runs a lot of tests to join. Each course has its own test. For most base degree courses, you need to take the PU-CET (UG). For next level courses, you take PU-CET (PG). For B.Com (Hons) at Panjab University, there is no entrance test. Admission is based on your Class 12 marks. You need at least 50% marks in Class 12 to apply.
The application usually starts in June, and the merit list is released in July. You just have to apply on time and wait for the merit list.

The online search did not produce the cutoff details for B.Com. at Panjab University. The eligibility criteria for B.Com. at Panjab University requests a minimum 50% in class 12th for general category students. Students of reserved categories like SC/ST and or OBC may have some degree of relaxation

There aren't too many students from Punjab at LPU. Most of the crowd is from all over India—like UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, South India—and even from other countries. Punjabis are just around 10% or so. The campus feels super diverse, and you'll find all kinds of cultures and vibes here.
