The admission to the BTech in Computer Science Engg. course is based on both Class 12 board exam marks and entrance test scores. While JEE Main, JEE Advanced, & CUET are popular exams at the national level with a high number of student applications every year, there are various state-level entrance tests as well that you can consider giving, as given here:

No, students are not eligible for BTech at IIT Delhi with 70% in Class 12. Though 70% is a good score but the percentage is not enough. The eligibility for BTech at IIT Delhi is 75% in Class 12 with relevant subjects from a recognised board. Students must fulfil the eligibility to get admisison.

No, DTU does not conduct any entrance exam of its own for admission to any of the UG, PG or doctoral-level courses. Admission for the flagship BTech programme is based on JEE Main scores and the entire process of counselling are conducted by JAC Delhi. Further, DTU admission to all the remaining courses is mostly based on national/ university-level entrance exams, such as UCEED,  GATE,  CAT,  MAT and CMAT, among others. However, there are a few MBA specialised courses and BBA, admission to which is offered based on the past qualifying exam  (UG level) followed by an interview round. 

The total course fees is sum of various components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, security deposit, etc. Jamia Milia Islamia BTech tuition fees is INR 76,900 to INR 6.12 lakh for four years. The above-mentioned fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IIIT Delhi offers four-year BTech course in nearly 10 specialisations. The mode of study is full-time. Admission is granted based on JEE score followed by JAC Delhi counselling. Mentioned below are some of the available course specialisations:

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.

IGDTUW cutoff 2026 has been released for BTech, Integrated BTech and BArch courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. During the IGDTUW Round 1 cutoff 2026, the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 29113 for the Female category in the General AI quota. The cutoff rank required varies by each round and category. 

BTech is one of the top courses of Jamia Hamdard University. NIRF ranked Jamia Hamdard at 74 under 'Overall' Category' in 2025 rankings. After completing the degree from Jamia Hamdard, BTech students can participate in the on-campus placement drive. According to Engineering NIRF report 2025, 124 students were selected for higher studies during Jamia Hamdard BTech placements of 2025.

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.E. / B.Tech from Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is INR 997,000. While, the Median package offered by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 825,000. Basis these stats, Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is better option compared to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology on the Median salary parameter.

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at Dronacharya College of Engineering and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are 660 and 600, respectively. While Dronacharya College of Engineering offers this course in 9 specialisations, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology offers the same in 7 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Dronacharya College of Engineering due to higher seats.

For the admission eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering is complete class 12 with Physics chemistry and maths with the minimum marks 50% and 45% for reserved College also take entrance exam Common Entrance Exam (CET).The college also excepted JEE MAINS for the admission.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2024 schedule is yet to be released by the Joint Admission Committee (JAC). It has been anticipated that JAC Delhi Counselling 2024  Online Registration and Choice Filling should commence in May 2024 and go upto till June 2024. To be conducted in five-six rounds like last year, Round 1 should release in June 2024, while Rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5 in July 2024. The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.
