B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Colleges in Delhi

BTech is IIT Delhi's flagship programme. Qualifying JEE Mains 2026 and JEE Advanced 2026 is mandatory for IIT Delhi BTech Admissions 2026. Meanwhile, 75% aggregate in Class 12 board exams is strictly required for IIT BTech admission 2026.

IIT Delhi BTech Seats are allotted via JoSAA counselling based on ranks and cutoffs. According to IIT Delhi JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff, the institute closed the Round 1 cut off at 123 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for General Category (Gender Neutral) candidates.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with PCM with at least 55% aggregate or 3-4 year Diploma with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for BE/ BTech courses at Jamia Millia Islamia.

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

IGDTUW cutoff 2026 has been released for BTech, Integrated BTech and BArch courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. During the IGDTUW Round 1 cutoff 2026, the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 29113 for the Female category in the General AI quota. The cutoff rank required varies by each round and category. 

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.E. / B.Tech from Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is INR 997,000. While, the Median package offered by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 825,000. Basis these stats, Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is better option compared to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology on the Median salary parameter.

The placement percentage is yet to be released. In 2026, more than 200 recruiters visited the campus for placements and offered 2300 jobs to students.

Selection for UPES Dehradun BTech course depends on JEE Main/CUET UG scorecard. Alternatively, 50 percentile in SAT India Score and 75%-80% in Class 12. Or, you can also appear for UPESESAT which is conducted by the university. The eligibility depends on minimum marks of 50% in aggregate for Class 10 and Class 12. The subject combination is as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in Class 12. 

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University - Okhla II Campus offers Degree and Diploma courses including 3 UG and 1 PG courses. Additionally, it also has After 10th Diploma courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University - Okhla II Campus has specializations such as M.E./M.Tech specializations in Tool Engineering, B.Tech specializations in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, After 10th Diploma specializations in Mechanical Engineering, UG Diploma specializations in Mechanical Engineering.

The university provides many scholarships on the basis of merit and other categories. Merit scholarships are offered to students who score good in JEE or Class 12 exams. Other categories are Wards of Defence Personnel, Differently Abled Children, Children of Single Mother, etc.

The Delhi Institute of Aeronautical Sciences is a very prominent institution that is situated in Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Delhi, and was established in 2003. Despite not being UGC-approved, it is an alluring private college.
