I am satisfied with the placements but disappointed with course and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement scenario of the college is very good in comparison to other colleges that offer chemical engineering course. Although I didn't get placed, the placement scenario is quite good. You can visit the college and check the placement section of our notice board if you need any confirmation. Many MNCs visit our campus for placements and offer roles of graduate engineer trainee. However, you will get disappointed with the placements of the food technology stream as the salary package offered for them is considerably low. The college has a vast alumni network which enables the management to connect to those companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is somehow disappointing, but you cannot expect much from a college that was established in the year 1958. The infrastructure of the college is still not of great standards. The college has well-equipped computer labs, classrooms, and laboratories. But our laboratories need to be upgraded. Classrooms are air-conditioned, but due to lack of funds, I have never seen them operational throughout my course. Projectors are provided in the classrooms, but some of our college students damaged some of those projectors.
Faculty: As far as the faculty members of the chemical engineering department, most of the teachers are well-qualified and possess great knowledge in their respective subjects. However, the faculty members of the food technology and MBA departments are not satisfactory. Guest faculty members available here cater to the vacant positions, and most of them leave the college as soon as they come to know that they are not getting paid. Teachers do not behave well at times. Though the students write the answers well, faculty give marks according to their wish. The course is very outdated. You will be reading about many types of machines that were a part of the industrial revolution earlier.

It provides good opportunities for the all-round development of students.
Placements: The college has a good reputation in the industry, with alumni holding the best job roles in many leading companies. Our course exposes students to the basics of chemical engineering field and gives a strong platform to go for specialisations. Students need to make efforts to get a good job. One cannot expect to be provided with a job without any efforts.
Infrastructure: There are basic amenities including accommodation. A canteen is available that provides food at very affordable prices. Medical facilities are also available. The campus has a lot of greenery. Sports facilities are good including an Olympic size swimming pool. The student union activities are prevalent as seen in most of the central universities.
Faculty: The college has almost 10 qualified professors. Most of them are the alumni of the same institute. They joined the college as faculty after gaining relevant industry exposure. The course curriculum is old but covers all the basics of chemical engineering. It is a solid foundation course before acquiring further expertise, or for entering the industry as an engineering trainee.
Other: An annual college techfest called Cyanide is celebrated in our college. The college is also active in the Enactus competition. The college provides technical conferences such as Chemcon and Nano-sci-tech.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placements were good. We were in the initial two batches and students got placed in good companies. We had to strive for placements, but we managed. The college management equally helped us with our placements. The alumni base of college is very strong, and it helps.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was being set up during our time. Our college started to set up new labs, improve infrastructure, set up research and development facility. The auditorium was renovated and equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment, and the infrastructure was improving.
Faculty: Faculty was respectable. The old and experienced faculty taught with a lot of experience and interest. The knowledge imparted by them was good. Their experience and expertise helped us build our basics which indeed is helping us in today's modern setup.

Amazing campus life, good faculty and average placements.
Placements: Placements in our college weren't that good since it was a new course. We had to fight a lot for placements as most of the chemical companies didn't allow us to attend the placement drives barring UOP and KBR. Even though, as far as I know, the placement scenario now is totally different with better placement opportunities to MBA batch than the normal chemical batch which wasn't there at our time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college wasn't very good, but it was average with the basic requirements of a library, Wi-Fi labs and classrooms. There was a sports common room available in the student centre, and the college building was like a typical government building.
Faculty: The teachers were good. Some were helpful and some were scary. Student to faculty ratio was not that good. There were industrial training sessions, and the teaching methods were also as per the requisite standards. Some teachers were very much experienced and well-qualified.
Other: The best things were the PU campus, hostel life, fests, election times, playing table tennis and many other things especially those GDs.

Average placements, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I got recruited in Byju's-The Learning Application through campus placements. The job profile offered to me was of a business development associate. Placements for my batch were average. The average salary package was 4.50 lacs per annum with the highest package being 10 lacs per annum, offered by Byju's. Roles offered by the companies ranged from technical profile to techno-managerial profiles.
Infrastructure: The chemical labs are equipped and have everything that is required for a chemical engineering course, although the equipment that already exists is very old and requires huge modifications. No sports or medical facilities as such are provided in the college. Wi-Fi facility on the campus is great and has excellent speed. There is no canteen available on the campus.
Faculty: All the professors are highly experienced when it comes to the number of years they have been in this profession which is quite favourable as it happens in all government colleges. The course curriculum was extremely useful. To say the least, you have to put in your time and effort to study on your own. You really cannot expect professors to help you out.
