MAH BBA CET counselling process 2024 registration started on August 31, 2024, after the announcement of the MAH BBA CET result 2024. The MAH BBA CET CAP Round-1 option filing form was released on September 23, 2024, along with the provisional seat matrix (college-wise). The last date to fill the MAH BBA CET option form was September 25, 2024. The CAP Round II option form will be released on October 4, 2024, and the last date to fill the form is October 6, 2024. The provisional seat allotment for CAP Round 2 will be released on October 9, 2024.

The State CET Cell Maharashtra conducts the MAH BBA CET counselling through a Common Admission Process (CAP). The last date to register for the MAH BBA CET CAP rounds was September 12, 2024. Students who match the MAH BBA CET cutoff will be eligible to participate in the MAH CET BBA counselling process. MAH BBA CET 2024 provisional merit list was released on September 17, 2024. Q:   When will the MAH BBA CET counselling process begin?

A:

The MAH BBA CET counselling process begins after the announcement of the MAH BBA CET result. The registrations for the MAH BBA CET counselling 2024 started on August 29, 2024. Candidates who match the cutoff criteria can participate in the MAH BBA CET counselling process by registering online using their Application number and password in the candidate portal. The State CET Cell Maharashtra will conduct the MAH BBA CET counselling through a Common Admission Process (CAP).

A:

The candidates who wish to participate in the MAH BBA CET CAP round should carry the following documents in original and photocopy:

  1. Class 10 marksheet
  2. Class 12 markseet
  3. MAH BBA CET admit card
  4. MAH BBA CET result cum scorecard
  5. Category certificate (if applicable)
  6. Qualifying exam marksheet/certificate

Q:   Is there a normalization process for MAH BBA CET?

A:

To ensure that all the candidates who appeared for the MAH CET exam for the undergraduate courses are judged fairly, MAH BBA CET normalization process is undertaken. The MAH BBA CET exam 2024 was conducted for the first time in three shifts. It may be possible that one session could have been slightly easier or difficult than the other.

Hence, MAH BBA CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MAH CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra State CET Cell normalizes the exam scores. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are scaled.

MAH BBA CET CAP Round 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates planning to take part in the MAH BBA CET CAP round must fulfil the below-mentioned MAH BMS BBA CET counselling eligibility criteria:

BBA/BMS/BBM and BCA Courses

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State candidates:

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India 
  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 as per the Admission Policy of the Affiliating University and scored a non-zero score in MAH - BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2024 conducted by the State CET Cell, or, 
  • The candidate should have passed an AICTE-approved Diploma in Commercial Practice or equivalent

Eligibility Criteria for all India candidates

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India
  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 as per the Admission Policy of the Affiliating University and scored a non-zero score in CUET UG 2024 or MAH - BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2024 conducted by the State CET Cell, or,
  • The candidate should have passed an AICTE-approved Diploma in Commercial Practice or equivalent

Note: The priority will be given to the non zero positive score in CUET UG over the MAH BBA CET 2024 score. 

Eligibility Criteria for NRI/PIO/OCI/FN/CIWGC candidates

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 as per the Admission Policy of the Affiliating University, or, 
  • The candidate should have passed an AICTE-approved Diploma in Commercial Practice or equivalent

Integrated MBA and Integrated MCA Courses

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State candidates:

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India 
  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 and secured at least 45 percent aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved categories) and scored a non zero score in MAH - BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2024 conducted by the State CET Cell

Eligibility Criteria for all India candidates

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India 
  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 and secured at least 45 percent aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved categories) and scored a non zero score in MAH - BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2024 conducted by the State CET Cell or CUET UG 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for NRI/PIO/OCI/FN/CIWGC candidates

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate and  
  • Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the authorities as defined under the Act. 

MAH BBA CET Counselling 2024: CAP Rounds

Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts the counselling process through a Centralised Admission Portal (CAP). Students who match the MAH BBA CET cutoff 2024 will be called by the participating institutes for the counselling process. To take part in the MAH BBA CET counselling process, candidates need to register for the MAH BBA CET CAP rounds online. Candidates will be given admission on the basis of the choice filled by them during the registration. The MAH BBA CET counselling process will likely include Personal Interview and Written Ability Test.

MAH BBA CET CAP round is the Maharashtra BBA Common Entrance Test Centralized Admission Process. It's a centralized system for admission to the UG courses offered through MAH BBA CET exam. The candidates who qualify the MAH BBA CET exam can participate in the CAP round for admission to the colleges which accept MAH BBA CET exam for BBA/BBCA/BBM/BMS courses. The selection is based on the candidate's MAH BBA CET score, preferences for colleges, and seat availability.

Candidates are required to register and fill out their application form online during the specified window. After registration, they need to get their documents verified at designated centers. Candidates can then choose their preferred programme then a merit list will be issued based on the choices filled by the candidates and the seats are allotted in each round.

How to Check Admission Status After CAP Round

Candidates can check their seat allotment status by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to the official website of the State CET Maharashtra Cell
  • Click on the 'Admission Process' tab and then click on the BBA/BCA/BBM/BMS course option
  • Now, click on the 'Check Allotment Status' on the top menu bar and choose the CAP round option or copy https://bbabcacap24.mahacet.org/Public/CheckAllotmentStatusRound1.aspx
  • Enter the Application ID, Date of Birth and Course Group
  • Finally, click on the 'Check Status' button
  • The admission status of the candidate will be displayed along with the other relevant details

How to Register for MAH BBA CET 2024 CAP Round?

The MAH BBA CET CAP round includes online registration, filling the application form, uploading required documents, fee payment, release of provisional and final merit lists and admission confirmation. Candidates can register for the MAH CAP round by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra CET Cell
  • Click on the 'Candidate Registration AY 2024-45'
  • Login using the login ID and password
  • Click on the 'CAP' tile
  • Now click on the new registration button and fill in the required details such as date of birth, name, mobile number, scores obtained in MAH BBA CET exam 2024, etc.
  • Upload the scanned copies of the required documents and fill up the online CAP application form

  • Finally, pay the application fee for the CAP registration

  • Take the printout of the duly filled application form 

  • Once the CAP application form is verified by the authorities, candidates will receive a fee acknowledgement slip

Instructions Regarding MAH BBA CET Counselling 2024

Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned below about the MAH BBA CET counselling process 2024:

  • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the MAH BBA CET counselling
  • Candidates should fill the MAH BBA CET counselling application form online only and pay the registration fee
  • Candidates who have registered for the MAH BBA CET exam 2024 are not required to pay any fee for the registration but the candidates who are taking part in the admission process through CUET UG 2024 scores have to pay the registration fee through credit card/debit card/internet banking/ UPI. The registration fee is a follows:

  • If candidates fail to confirm the online filled application form at the E-Scrutiny centre, then such applications will be rejected and their names will not appear in the merit list.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved categories have to upload the caste certificates. 
  • The NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN and Jammu Kashmir candidates will get the Receipt-cum-acknowledgement through their login after confirmation of application by the E-Scrutiny Center.
  • Candidates who have registered as a reserved category candidates but are unable to produce the required certificate for reservation claims during the documents verification stage are required to pay a difference fee of INR 200/- through online mode only.
  • Once the candidate confirms his/her option online, they will not be allowed to modify or cancel it.
  • Candidates who will be allotted the seat will be given the provisional seat allotment letter.
  • The seat acceptance fee is INR 1000 for all candidates which will be non-refundable.
