How is NMAT Score Calculated?
Many candidates often confuse the NMAT scaled score and percentile score at the time of admission. The difference between NMAT scaled score and NMAT percentile score is mentioned below:
Scaled scores: All test takers find a different set of questions in the NMAT exam. To equate candidates on a similar scale, GMAC considers a formula to adjust the score. The adjusted score is known as the scaled score. NMAT scaled score slightly differs from the score candidates see when they submit their responses.
Final Percentile Score: Although GMAC does not release the NMAT percentile score in the scorecard, candidates often wish to know their relative performance. The NMAT percentile score indicates the performance of a candidate compared to the scores of other test takers.
