Syllabus of MAH BBA CET exam is based on Class 12 and students need not study advanced topics beyond Class 12. MAH CET BBA syllabus assesses knowledge of students and skills at Class 12 level. 

Q:   Which section of the MAH BBA CET exam has the maximum weightage?

The English section of MAH BBA CET has the maximum weightage. This section carries 40 marks and Reasoning (Arithmetic and Verbal) section carries 30 marks. So, together they carry 70 questions, i.e. 70 percent of the total number of questions. General Knowledge and Computer Basics sections carry 15 marks each.

Thus, candidates must prepare for this section well. Candidates should not ignore it at any cost as a good overall score and overall percentile will be directly related to one’s performance in these two sections. If you score low in these two sections, you score will fall drastically.

Yes, students who apply for MAH BBA CET exam can also apply for other applied courses such as BMS, BBM, BHMCT, Integrated MBA, etc. It is undergraduate exam.

MAH BBA CET is conducted for BBA admissions in top Bschools in Maharashtra. MAH CET BBA  is considered easy to moderate in terms of difficulty. 

Q:   How many questions does the MAH BBA CET Reasoning section have?
A: 

The number of questions in MAH BBA CET Reasoning section is 30. Each question carries one mark in the Reasoning section. There is no negative markings. 

Q:   Will there be any subjective-type questions in the MAH BBA CET exam?
A: 

No, there are no subjective-type or long form answer questions in the MAH BBA CET exam. The MAH BBA CET question paper only has 100 multiple-choice questions that are to be solved in 90 minutes. Candidates must attempt all the sections. Candidates must note that each question in the MAH BBA CET question paper will have four options. They will be required to choose the correct answer and select the radio button for the answer. If the candidate marks two options for a particular answer, then that answer will be considered incorrect. Each question in the MAH BBA CET carries one mark. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

Q:   Is there a provision of conducting the MAH BBA CET exam twice?

SET exam is conducted in three sessions every year. The exam is conducted in CBT test mode for all sessions. MAH BBA CET 2026 exam will be conducted from April 28 to 30.

MAH BBA CET 2026 exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes or two hours. Duration of exam has been extended this year. Earlier, MAH BBA CET exam was conducted for 90 minutes.

The MAH BBA CET exam is held for 120 minutes. MAH BBA CET exam will be conducted in two slots in a day. MAH BBA CET exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the students will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the MAH BBA CET exam centre at least an hour before the exam time.

MAH BBA CET exam was conducted for the first time in 2024. The questions in the MAH BBA CET exam are mostly based on the Class 12 syllabus. The English language section can be a bit difficult because of lengthy comprehension passages. The General Knowledge section was the easiest. Rest of the sections are usually of the easy to moderate difficulty level but are easily doable. 

Q:   Is there a sectional time limit in MAH BBA CET?
A: 

No, there is no sectional time limit in the MAH BBA CET exam. Total duration of MAH BBA CET exam is 120 minutes and the students have to solve the question paper within the stipulated time. Students can switch between sections and questions as per their convenience. This time there are no sectional cutoffs also as the exam was conducted for the first time.

Q:   Is 81 a good score in MAH BBA CET?

According to the past trends, a score of 80 and above in MAH BBA CET corresponds to 99 percentile and above. This is a very good score for admission to the top colleges accepting MAH CET BBA.

Q:   How many mock tests should I take for the MAH BBA CET exam preparation?

The candidates must practice at least 15-20 MAH BBA CET mock tests. Practicing that many mock tests will make them well prepared for all types of questions in the BBA CET exam - tricky, lengthy, easy, tough, etc. However, the point to keep in mind is that one should not start practicing mock test without completing the MAH BBA CET syllabus. They must first complete the syllabus so that while solving the mock test, they know which technique to apply on what type of questions.
