MAH BBA CET analysis include:

  • MAH BBA CET 2026 will be conducted in computer based test mode. The exam will be conducted on three days, i.e. April 28, April 29 and April 30
  • Overall difficulty level of MAH BBA CET question paper is expected to be easy to moderate.
  • MAH BBA CET question paper 2026 will not have negative markings. Each question will carry one mark.

Q:   Is there negative marking in the MAH BBA CET exam?
A: 

MAH BBA CET is one of the BBA entrance exams in India which does not have negative marking. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded to the candidate but no marks are deducted for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The total marks of BBA CET are 100 and candidates need not worry about making incorrect attempt. They must however avoid random selection of options as correct answers. They should take time in understanding the question and then choose the option. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in MAH BBA BMS CET so candidates can spend some time on the questions and then answers. The exam will be of 1.5 hours. Answering 60-70 questions can land them with a good percentile. 

Q:   What is the sectional weightage in MAH BBA CET exam?

MAH BBA CET has four sections – English, Reasoning, Computer-Basics and General Knowledge. Section wise, the Englishs section has the maximum weightage and Computer-basics and General Knowledge has the minimum weightage. Check below the sectional weightage of MAH BBA CET 2026:

The MAH BBA CET 2025 exam was conducted on April 29, 2025 (Day 1). The first shift of the exam was held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The overall difficulty level of the MAH BBA CET question paper 2025 was easy. MAH BBA CET 2025 question paper difficulty level of the Shift 2 exam was easy. English was a little trickier than Shift 1. The reasoning section was easy too, as there were no questions on Mathematics. Overall, the paper was doable. For the GK section, there were questions from static GK and current affairs.

Q:   What is the MAH BBA CET CAP round?
A: 

MAH BBA CET CAP round is the Maharashtra BBA Common Entrance Test Centralized Admission Process. It's a centralized system for admission to the UG courses offered through MAH BBA CET exam. The candidates who qualify the MAH BBA CET exam can participate in the CAP round for admission to the colleges which accept MAH BBA CET exam for BBA/BBCA/BBM/BMS courses. The selection is based on the candidate's MAH BBA CET score, preferences for colleges, and seat availability.

Candidates are required to register and fill out their application form online during the specified window. After registration, they need to get their documents verified at CET centers. Candidates can then choose their preferred programme then a merit list will be issued based on the choices filled by the candidates and the seats are allotted in each round.

Q:   Which section of the MAH BBA CET exam has the maximum weightage?
A: 

The English section of MAH BBA CET has the maximum weightage. This section carries 40 marks and Reasoning (Arithmetic and Verbal) section carries 30 marks. So, together they carry 70 questions, i.e. 70 percent of the total number of questions. General Knowledge and Computer Basics sections carry 15 marks each.

Thus, candidates must prepare for this section well. Candidates should not ignore it at any cost as a good overall score and overall percentile will be directly related to one’s performance in these two sections. If you score low in these two sections, you score will fall drastically.

MAH BBA CET Detailed Analysis (2024)

The MAH BBA CET 2024 was conducted on May 29, 2024, for the first time. There were about 10,000 students registered for the MAH BBA CET exam, which has made the exam competitive. The overall difficulty level of the MAH BBA CET exam 2024 was easy to moderate. Most of the questions were easy to attempt. Since the MAH BBA CET question paper was easy, a score of 85+ out of 100 could be considered a good attempt. 

MAH BBA CET 2024 Analysis: English Language

The English Language section was the lengthiest with 40 multiple-choice questions. The overall difficulty of this section was easy. Majoirty of the questions were asked from Reading Comprehension and Grammar. 

MAH BBA CET 2024 Analysis: Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic)

The Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic) section had 30 MCQs. There were two LRDI sets. There were also questions on topics such as Blood Relations, Arrangements, Coding and Decoding, Patterns, etc. The section also had basic mathematics questions. The difficulty level of the section was easy to moderate. 

MAH BBA CET 2024 Analysis: General Knowledge and Awareness

The GK section largely had questions about India. There were 15 MCQs on India's geographical locations, well-known places, historical events, Nobel Prices, etc. The difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate. 

MAH BBA CET 2024 Exam Analysis: Computer-Basics

The difficulty level of the Computer Basics sections was very easy to easy. As the name suggests, the section had questions on computer's hardware, software, data storage, memory, etc.

Hence, MAH BBA CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MAH CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra State CET Cell normalizes the exam scores. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are scaled.

Q:   What is the MAH BBA CET exam duration and exam slot?
A: 
The MAH BBA CET exam is held for 120 minutes. MAH BBA CET exam will be conducted in two slots in a day. MAH BBA CET exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the students will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the MAH BBA CET exam centre at least an hour before the exam time.
