SET BSc Eco/Eco (H) Application Form 2026, Registration: Know How to Apply

Given below are a few important points about the SET 2026 application form:

• The SET exam application process is completely online. There is no provision to fill out the SET application form 2026 offline. 
• The SET application process 2026 has two parts. Part one of the registration consists of basic information about the candidate and payment of the SET application fee. The second part of the process includes choosing the preferred institutes and paying the programme fee. 
• The SET application fee and programme fee can be paid online as well as through Demand Draft.

The SET exam eligibility criteria 2026 state that:

• The student must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination in the relevant stream from a recognised board or university with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category candidates).
• Students in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results can also apply, but they will have to submit a passing certificate at the time of admissions.
• A student who has completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

To apply for the SET exam, follow the steps given below (Part I):

• Open the SET official website in a new browser

• Click on 'Apply for SET exam' on the top right corner

• Click on the 'New User Registration' button and read the Terms and Conditions given on the page

• You will be redirected to Part I of the SET exam application process, wherein you will be required to fill in details such as the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, gender, etc. 
• Fill out the SET application form with the required details, choose the preferred SET test date, city and upload the photograph
• Check the details filled and click on 'Save and Continue' to submit it
• Enter the six-digit one-time password (OTP) received on the registered mobile number

SET Application Process 2026 (Part II)

Check out part 2 of the SET application process below:

• Verify the OTP received on the registered email ID
• Pay the SET application fee and proceed to the Part II of the SET registration process
• Now, fill in the details such as communication address, nationality, and details of parents/guardians, and select the preferred SET colleges
• You will now be redirected to the institute fee payment gateway. Applicants need to pay INR 1000 for each institute they have selected during the application process
• Complete the SET application form by paying the institute fee and taking a print out of the SET application form 2026

Candidates can pay the SET application fee online through credit/debit cards or through net banking.

Mode of Payment

Candidates can choose any of the following four payment modes.

2. Easebuzz Payment Gateway

3. Indian Bank Payment Gateway

4. Demand Draft:

To make payment through Demand Draft, follow the given steps:

• Get a demand draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune

• Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in the "Make Payment" tab

• The DD should reach the authorities by 5 PM on the last date of SET exam registration 

• Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

If any candidate plans to appear for only one session of the SET exam, he/she will have to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250/- and if they plan to appear for both sessions then they will have to submit a DD of INR 4500/-. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send an email confirming the payment. Candidates can access their SET admit card 2026 only if they have received the application fee payment confirmation. 

Documents Required for Filling up SET Application Form 2026

The candidates should keep the following documents ready before filling up the SET BBA application form:

• Scanned recent coloured passport-size photograph

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

• Date of birth certificate

• Photo ID proof

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

Students must remember the following points while filling out the SET application form 2026:

• The SET exam application form should be filled out carefully and with correct and valid information.

• An incomplete SET application form will be rejected at the screening level. Candidates will also not be issued the SET hall ticket. 

• The candidates are required to enter details such as academic qualifications, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, permanent address, email ID and phone number.

• The photograph of the candidate uploaded in the application form should not be older than three months.
• The allocation of test centres will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Given below are a few instructions to keep in mind when choosing the SET test centre:

• During the SET application form filling, candidates can choose up to three test cities for the SET exam centre allotment.
• The test cities cannot be changed once the SET application form has been submitted.
• The details of the SET test centre will be mentioned on the SET admit card along with the date and time of the exam
• Candidates must note that they will have to visit the same test centre that has been allotted to them. They cannot change the centre on the exam day too. No change requests will be entertained.

After the SET result is declared, the aspirants will be required to book their seats for PI-WAT by paying INR 1000 as a SET PI-WAT fee. The final merit list will be announced after the PI-WAT process is over. Final admission will be offered based on the candidate’s combined score in the SET exam and PI-WAT. Selected candidates will be sent the offer letter for admission through email. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website regularly.
