SET BSc Eco/Eco (H) Cut off 2026: Check Category wise Cut off Marks

In 2026, SET will be conducted in two phase, i.e. Test 01 and Test 02. No, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not hold a centralized counseling process for BBA Admissions through SET. The role of Symbiosis University is to only conduct the SET exam and prepare the results. The role in BBA process is only sharing the result/scorecard of candidates with the BBA participating institutes that they have selected in the SET application form. The participating institutes prepare their own merit list and select candidates for admission basis the result shared by Symbiosis University. The minimum eligibility criteria for shortlisting is passing marks in SET. However, the selection is based on cut-offs fixed by the institutes. The institutes accepting SET scores inform students about their shortlist status via e-mail when the admission windows open. Candidates who are expecting a call from the institutes they had selected in the SET application form must keep a check on their email (spam section too) for the interview invitation.

After the SET exam is over, candidates should follow the below mentioned instructions:

1. Drop the exception form, if any, in the drop box outside the lab or centre
2. Rough sheets used during the exam should be dropped into the drop box designated for the same.
3. Do no litter the exam centre
4. Follow the instructions of the volunteer at the exam centre for the exit path.

Candidates can only attempt the SET exam twice on the given test dates. The SET exam 2026 is expected to be conducted on two dates, likely in the first and second week of May 2026. The SET exam 2026 will likely be conducted on two days (one session each day).

Candidates can mention their number of attempts while filling the SET application form. However, they have to pay the application fee per session. Thus, candidates who are sure of making multiple attempts only they should apply for multiple sessions as the fee amount is non-refundable.  The scores of best attempt will be taken into consideration for shortlisting of candidates for WAT/GD/PI/Studio Test.

According to the previous cutoff trends, the SET cutoff generally range from 85-89 for the General category. Last year, the highest SET cutoff was 89 for the General category. Shortlisted candidates who match the cutoff will be called for further selection procedure, which includes, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
