CBSE 10th deleted syllabus

CBSE Board Exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education decided to conduct board exams 2022 in two terms from the current academic session, i.e. 2021-22. While the board has already concluded CBSE Term-1 board exams 2021 in the month of November and December, CBSE Term-2 exams dates for Class 10, 12 are yet to be released. Earlier, considering the ongoing pandemic situation, the education ministry announced its decision to reduce CBSE syllabus for CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th including Class 9 and Class 11 by 30% for the academic session 2020-21. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation and lockdown, and the loss of classroom teaching time it is creating, CBSE reduced the syllabus of classes 9 to 12 with the help of suggestions from NCERT. However, the reduced syllabus was only effective for the current 2020-21 session.

The official notice regarding CBSE Syllabus reads, "The Board annually provides curriculum for classes IX to XII for a given academic year containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices, and assessment guidelines. 2. CBSE has advised schools to adopt learning outcomes prescribed by NCERT annexed with the curriculum of each subject for classes IX-X to implement Competency Based Questions.
