Review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
Placements: Placements are not that good for CHE and in our college. They are pretty average. The college has a lot of connections, so internships are pretty good. Top recruiters are Amazon, Hyundai, Bosch, etc. 50-70% of placements are done. The average salary is low.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are bad. There are 4 people in 1 room. It is also not a sufficient amount of space to keep all your things. They provide you with 2 tables for 4 of you. The mess food is really bad and sometimes, it is impossible to eat. Wi-Fi is provided 24/7 throughout the campus.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and prepares students for industries. Most of the teachers are friendly and good at teaching. But some teachers are not that good at teaching. If we complain, the entire class has to suffer.
Other: There are not many events on the campus that are enjoyable. Just a planned college life.

The campus is good and eco-friendly.
Placements: Almost 40% of students get placed on campus. The highest package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 - 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam solutions, Hexaware, etc. About 20% of students got internships in small companies. The roles offered in my course are Data Analyst and Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi with good internet speed. It has six laboratories and each has Printers, a scanner, and Wi-Fi enabled. There is a server room that handles all machines present in six laboratories. Our college provides a library and a projector facility for presentations, workshops, and seminars. Students also gets fees benefits. There is no hostel in the college. A canteen is also available. The campus is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Faculty: Our faculty members are caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. They always try to provide the best knowledge to us. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are good, and the passing percentage of college is 70 - 80%.
Other: I opted for Information Technology course, because it has a bright future. Events and fests are held in this college.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a place to excel in your higher studies.
Placements: Around 75% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. IT, L&T, Sanmar, Yokogawa, JSW, Dover, Adani, etc., come here. 60% of students got internships. Trainee engineers, professor, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are clean with fans, speakers, whiteboards and blackboards. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the computer labs and hostels. There are 4-sharing rooms and single occupancy rooms available. The food available in the canteen and mess is good. There is a big sports ground and a PE department.
Faculty: The faculty are very well-qualified and experienced. Teachers are responsible for the tremendous growth of students. The courses require more practical understanding and much relevant to the curriculum. The pass percentage of our college is 33%. The difficulty level of semester exams depends on the course. Every question needs to be logically approached for good credits.
Other: Chemical engineering is a versatile course, and there is a big demand in the industry. Concepts are taught in an understandable manner. The college fest is conducted annually where everyone in the college has fun.

Our college has a good infrastructure. Faculty members are the best and highly talented.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course get placed. Mostly IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, etc., visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Once SPIC and some other chemical industries also visited our college for our department placements. Now companies visit our college for our department placements are very less while compared with the previous years.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are the best. The hostel facility and the quality of food served are below average. There are three canteens, and the ambience of the canteen is good to eat there. Medical facilities and the doctors available are good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers in our college are well-qualified and friendly. They make the students highly educated, and students get placed easily in the core department placements.
Other: The best thing about our college is the environmental surroundings. Our college organises many events. The best events organised at our college are Anokha and Gokulashatami, which make students show their talents.

It is a very good college to pursue B.Tech in chemical engineering.
Placements: Placements are less because of the latest COVID-19 outbreak. In general, for the chemical engineering stream, placements in undergraduate level are quite less. Moreover, most of the students opt for pursuing MS or M.Tech. Top recruiting companies include Saint Gobain, FLSmidth, RIL, Cameron Schlumberger, Tirumalai Chemicals, Chemplast Sanmar Ltd and CUMI.
Infrastructure: The library is wonderful, and there are thousands of books. The university has facilitated access for scientific journals like Elsevier Sciencedirect, Springer, JSTOR and many others. Classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with ICT learning tools. Good Hygiene is maintained in the hostel. Only vegetarian food is available, and the food quality and nutrition are not compromised, though occasionally taste differs. As with any other mess, there are always chances that one might not like it much, but south Indian food is cooked with a better taste as compared to North Indian. There are three canteens inside the campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very good, especially the revised curriculum for 2019 onwards. Almost 80% of the faculty members are PhD holders in the chemical engineering department, and they are very friendly and helpful for our course projects. The final year project is a research project but not a plant design project which makes us stand apart from chemical engineering courses. The typical plant design project is a yearlong project which is embedded in the third year.

A review of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.
Placements: Amrita is known for its 100% placement record year after year. All the students from our batch were placed. Any aspirant considering to take admission in Amrita can be sure of the fact that he or she is sure to get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided at the college is top-class. The college is well-equipped with world-class labs to support your curriculum. The hostels are very clean and spacious. Cleaning staff takes care of maintaining cleanliness in the hostels on a daily basis. The college provides a gym, football ground, basketball ground, badminton courts, synthetic running turf and an Olympic standard swimming pool. It is one of the best infrastructures you can imagine.
Faculty: The curriculum is on par with global standards and updated to current trends. Faculty members are the one factor that makes Amrita stand out. All the faculty members are highly qualified and well-experienced. Many of them have been at top positions in many MNCs and national institutions like ISRO. It is very rare to find such faculty members other than in institutions like IITs or NITs.
Other: The college would be one of the best options to consider for any aspirant.

Worth for money and many students who are enthusiastic for opportunities.
Placements: As far as chemical engineering is concerned, higher studies is encouraged much than placements. If you need good job GATE exam can be a good option. There are very good count of placements here. Our senior has got AIR 59 in GATE 2018. So this simply answers the question.
Infrastructure: We have adequate infrastructure facilities. But this college is not like any other normal college which has unnecessary extra amenities. What is required for students is given. That's it. It is not so uncomfortable to stay in the hostels. Wi-Fi facilities upto 12 pm in the night. A very big library with attached canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members are simply awesome. We have many of them who have a Ph.D. and many completing their Masters. Thus it's even more useful. Also these teachers have started to teach from 1st year itself. This is a again considered as a profit for the students.
Other: Anokha is the only tech fest conducted here. It is also ISO authentic.

Hello Abhilash, Chemical engineering is perhaps that branch of engineering which fascinates many students. Of course it has wide spectrum of application and as a result placements are also good. If you are getting admission in this branch do grab it.
