A good university but can do better with some good management.
Placements: The placement scenario for branches like aerospace, chemical, and civil does not look very good at the moment due to fewer initiatives taken by the placement cell. Only 30% of students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered in our branch is 6.5 LPA by L&T. Almost all students got internships but they are through their connections and determinations. Professors do help in finding you internships though. Top roles offered in aerospace are CAD design, material design, CFD analysis, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi. The library has more than enough books, articles, and journals that a student might need in the 4 years of their engineering. Classrooms are breezy. The environment of Coimbatore itself is nice. The aerospace department has good labs with a wind tunnel, fight simulator, supersonic JET material testing equipment, instrumentation devices, etc. New labs are also being built for Unava, advanced avionics, etc.
Faculty: One of the best parts of being at Amrita is their highly qualified faculty. They have deep knowledge of their respective subjects and will always give you extra information on whatever topic you feel curious about. The course curriculum is revised every 4 years and is up to date with global advancements so don't worry about that. There are a lot of subjects which give you enough idea of industrial applications. Exams aren't that tough, well for me. They might get tricky for some people if not attentive in class.
Other: I always wanted to be an aerospace engineer, and Amrita just helped me to give that extra push. I wanted to realise how amazing the field is. Although the curriculum, faculty, and school of engineering in itself are doing great. I would have liked it if there were more project-based courses, hands-on experience, active clubs, and a competitive environment. Anokha has been down the rut for the past 2-3 years which is the only tech fest organised by the university. I'd rather want it to be a collaboration with other units so that students can unlock their full potential.

I am satisfied with faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are good in our college. A lot of companies come and we can also opt for IT jobs.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided are more than enough. Library has a huge collection of books. There is also an online library which almost has every book. Labs are well facilitated.
Faculty: All the facilities are doctorates and have excelled in their field. Everyone is very friendly and solves all your doubts but are equally strict. You can have a personal doubt clearing session or do it with the whole class. Faculty will always look after you on a personal level.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and the infrastructure.
Placements: When it comes to core jobs in Aerospace branch, the number of students that gets placed in core is very less in number. That's because of the opportunities available in India for a bachelor's degree graduate in aerospace engineering. But the college do help all the students who wants to get a job, In getting placed in other companies like IT mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus including hostels. And aerospace department has a very well equipment laboratories and to have a real time experience in understand the engineering and working of aircrafts, the college has provided the students an opportunity to visually view and work on two real aircrafta like Kamov 25 and Mig-23. All the classrooms are equipment with projectors and the library has a wide range of books. The college also has a well maintained hostels.
Faculty: All the faculty members in aerospace department are graduated in any one of the IITs or IISC. They are all very well experienced in their field of teaching. Most the faculty members have worked in core companies and that help them to make the students understand the theoretical concepts more efficiently by sharing their experience on applications in real world. The course curriculum is structured in a way that it helps students in understand the very basics of engineering too before going in depth. The experiments in lab and the projects given are more of industry orientated which make the students industry ready.

Faculty and curriculum were very good.
Placements: Mostly students were recruited to IT-based companies. Core companies that recruit B.Tech aerospace students are very less. CTS, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra were few of the companies that recruited students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good, library was the best. Quality of food was good. Can't expect food like homemade but was fine. Campus life was good. Atmosphere and climate were good.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum were very good. Much experienced faculty members with strong background. I personally will not recommend to study a specialisation in B.Tech. Better to do basic courses like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, CSE in B.Tech and specialisation in M.Tech. Since all the companies majorly want people with B.Tech from any of the above mentioned branches only.

Great infrastructures and facilities with experienced faculty members.
Placements: 1. 40% (mostly into the IT companies) 2. 3.2-5.2 Lacs was the salary range offered to the students. 3. CTS, LMW (Many got multiple placements in IT, but they were required to choose only one) 4. Graduate Engineer Trainee - LMW (People who got placements for IT had a 2-6 months trainee and were given testing or developer post) 6. 30% of the students got internship from NAL, HAL.
Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi is almost everywhere, the speed is usable. You can stream 480p in youtube without buffering. The classrooms and halls are spacious and resourceful. The Library is a gem. 2. The cleanliness and repair in hostels are awesome. Food gets a little repetitive as time goes on.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are great and knowledgeable and teaching quality is relatively better than other institutes. 2. After getting the NBA accreditation, the curriculum has evolved a lot than expected. The self final year projects do make us industry-ready.

Consolidate your weaknesses, and there are many clubs to help you.
Placements: As of now, there are no core company placements for us. Only mass recruitment is going on. Almost 99% of the students without arrears are placed. Companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS, Wipro, etc., are offering jobs. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Only 15% of students got a chance to do an internship only in government organisation like DRDO, ISRO.
Infrastructure: There is good lab equipment. The college provides the best environment to study, and the college infrastructure is exceptional. Wi-Fi is also available here. There is a library equipped with a plethora of books. The hostel facilities are satisfactory. Since the campus is in Tamilnadu and close to the border of Kerala, their traditional food items are offered here. Medical facilities are fine. Sports and games are also encouraged here.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are world-class. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They help in our academics. This course is adequate, and when it comes to working, we need to have a higher degree because no core companies are willing to offer jobs to us.
Other: I want to select unconventional course even if it is strenuous. Once you start studying this course, I'm sure that you will like this course and the sad thing is that you need to pursue a higher degree if you want to settle in this stream. I wish to see more students opting this course despite getting a job. Events are organised in our college frequently, and a lot of students from other departments also participate.

I have learnt many ethics, values and everything with experience, which are helpful.
Placements: My batch placements have not yet started. 90% of my seniors got placed in different companies. Everyone will get placed, but it is not assured that we will get placed in core or interested companies. I am studying aerospace engineering, but I am not sure whether I will be placed in an aerospace company or not, but I will definitely get placed in IT companies. IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Byju's, etc., visit the campus. Computer science students will get more jobs compared to aerospace. It's better to study M.Tech or MS for those who are willing to join Amrita Aerospace.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled 24*7. Classrooms and labs are clean. The labs at Amrita are very expensive, and the machinery in the labs is very often seen in IITs. The computer labs contain more than 2000 systems, at different locations on the campus. The campus has good greenery and is surrounded by mountains. Amrita will give good medical facilities 24*7. The college has good sports facilities. We have a huge ground, 4 football grounds, 1 cricket ground, and athletic grounds, as well as weightlifting and powerlifting. The gym is free. The hostel rooms are very neat and are cleaned every day. The food in the canteen is very delicious, but non-veg is not available, so we have to adjust with veg only. I didn't face any infrastructure related problems.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and experienced, with PhD backgrounds. Everyone can't enter the faculty room (staff room). The curriculum is very good, which is the same as IIT syllabus. The teachers are very helpful. For every 10 members, we have a counsellor and advisory. The lab faculty are real-time experienced faculty. The curriculum is very easy for B.Tech students.
Other: Amrita conducts many events. Anokha, the techfest is South India's biggest tech fest. We have 3 academic blocks-1, 2, 3. The campus surrounding is covered with mountains and greenery.

The faculty members in aerospace engineering are the best.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Infosys. A few students in ECE and mechanical got placed in core companies, whereas the students from other branches got placed in IT companies. Around, 80% of the students got placed on the campus. The highest salary is nearly 15 LPA, but the average is low, which is close to 4 LPA to my knowledge.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. Aerospace labs are not well-equipped for research work, and one has to come up with ideas to use the existing equipment. The library has enough books relating to academics and the reading room in the library is a good place to study and discuss with other students.
Faculty: In my branch (aerospace), the faculty members are amazing. Every student is taken care, and they strive to bring out the best from every individual. The teachers are well-qualified and experienced, which helps the students to discuss and decide their future path.
Other: There is an annual fest called Anokha, which is the most probably boring.
