Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus- Chennai.

Placements: Top recruiting companies of this year are Ford, Hero Motocorp, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Ola Electric, Microsoft, ZS Technologies, Wipro, etc. Approximately 98% of the students got placed. You'll get placed in any of the information technology firms for sure.

Infrastructure: Adequate equipment is provided throughout the course by the college. Labs are perfectly functional and equipped with the latest machines. In the hostel, food quality is not that great but it'll get the job done. Rooms have been renovated in 2021, so they'll be clean and good.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful throughout the course and they're always there for us. You'll find some of them rude but that's how it is everywhere else. Overall they're good and knowledgeable. Lab assistance is very good and helpful. We could visit the lab even during non-lab hours.

It is a pretty good college, but the management should take more responsibility.

Placements: Mostly students got placed in the IT sector but there were some good opportunities for the mechanical core branch also. I chose this course to get immense knowledge in the field but after completing the B.Tech I found it is nothing compared to real work which should be taught in college too. Many celebrities come to the main campus during the Ayush fest and others.

Infrastructure: Our college has good hostel facility with average food like any other hostel but has good surroundings and good Wi-Fi. The warden will show partiality like in any other hostel, but the experience was decent enough. I will say that stay 1st year in the hostel and then find some apartment if possible.

Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good but the management wasn't. Regarding the faculty, I will say that they are very experienced faculty members but the behavior towards the students could be improved and the most important thing is to respect the students who came from other parts of India.

Other: I chose this course to get immense knowledge in the field but after completing the B.Tech I found it is nothing compared to real work which should be taught in college too. There are many celebrities coming to the main campus during the Ayush fest and others.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus- Chennai.

Placements: Generally, the roles offered were in the IT sector and not in core mechanical. Very few core mechanical companies visited here for placements. So, if you join in either IT or CSE, then you will atleast have a good scope of placements in those fields.

Infrastructure: The canteen is good here, and the campus doesn't have a playground and have only buildings. Moreover, there was a basketball court which gets overcrowded every day as a lot of students play daily. There are no facilities like football, etc. There are only 2 basketball courts in which students play cricket at corners.

Faculty: Generally, the teachers are average here. They just teach what is available in the syllabus and don't provide extra knowledge. They give a lot of importance to lab manuals and unnecessary writing, which they throw out the moment when exams are completed. The semester exams are difficult, but the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: Fests organised here are bad, and the crowd is just a local crowd. Moreover, our college doesn't allow many events to be organised. So, don't keep a hope that you will attend fests here.

Great infrastructure with pleasant teacher for helping the students.

Placements: The placements were well enough for the students. The students are assured with good package of placement. Wipro is one of the company where our college seniors have been allotted. I hope I will soon get an opportunity. Approximately 68% have been placed.

Infrastructure: Our college provides with good hostel facilities. It has full of disciplined rooms. Our college has a good infrastructure with good library facility with big collection of books related to our course. We have a healthy and hygiene medical facilities. Our classrooms look clean and tidy.

Faculty: The faculty members are so good at teaching. We are so happy to study with them. They encourage us in every activities. We have a good interaction with each other. They almost easily cover-up the syllabus as possible. Our course structure is very good and easy to learn.

Excellent location, Good college .

Placements: There were many top companies which took part in the campus placements and the placement department makes sure there are companies coming even after the end of the academic year. Students are allowed to attend other colleges placement drives aswell.

Infrastructure: Everything required is available readily. All mandatory needs are taken care of within the campus itself. There is a hospital within the campus premises which can be used by the students free of cost. Canteen inside the campus also serves good food.

Faculty: The curriculum taught is designed in such a way that it Matches international standards and the academic incharges take several measures to ensure is upgraded regularly, even in the midst of academic years.

The college is not worth the money paid.

Placements: Almost 30-40% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Infosys, etc. The top role offered to the students is a software engineer. Almost 30% of the students got an internship only in software companies but not much in core companies. Placements here are for namesake. We excepted separate placements for our campus, but there were students from other colleges like KTR Delhi and Vadapalani, so chances for getting placed are less. Only mass recruiters hired many students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our college. Classrooms are not that good in our college according to the paid fee, and the library is very small. Hostel and mess are not worth the money paid. The ground is very small for students. Medical facilities are good, and we have dental college and hospital inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good. The course curriculum is relevant, but since it is deemed, students used to prepare only for marks but not for gaining knowledge. Technical knowledge is not much gained by the students. Teaching is good, and staff members are well-qualified. Labs and demonstration are also good.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an aspiration to pursue a mechanical course. The college should provide practical knowledge. Events and fests conducted in our college are good.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 1. Nearly 80% were placed in mechanical engineering course 2. The highest around 5lakhs per annum the lowest around a Lacs per annum and average is lower than a Lacs per annum 3. Top recruiters were TATA, Bharatbenz and so many industries. 4. Based on our performance roles are offered. 5. The highest package upto 5Lakhs per annum average means about 1 Lacs. 6. Nearly 80% of students got placed every year in core companies like TATA and caterpillar.

Infrastructure: 1. Well experienced faculties are available in our campus even smart class are available in every classroom A/C Library is there to go through books 2. Food is pretty good in our hostel and weekly two days non-veg is available. 24 hours of medical is available inside our campus. Even a very big hospital is available inside our campus.

Faculty: 1. Teaching is very good and they are very helpful in understanding the concept and the teachers handling particular subjects were awesome in teaching skills 2. Yes! In our campus we have extra software courses based on mechanical engineering so from that we are learning about designing and many other things.

Other: 1. I chose this course because I love the automobiles and the way of working. Best things for me is this mechanical engineering is mostly based on physics 2. Introduce more number of software courses. 3. Every year we have symposium.

Absolutely just okay with overall 4years of experience.

Placements: In SRM UNIVERSITY Ramapuram campus you just need above 65% to sit in placements. But many companies offer you when you have at least above 70% and the minimum package is 3.25L per annum and the maximum is 8L per annum. And many companies will offer you internship once you completed your interview.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is just good and the classrooms are very spacious and very good, lab equipment works in a smooth way and coming to the hostel point the food is just okay and the canteen is good. There are medical facilities 24/7 in my campus. And don't expect about the ground, to play football, cricket-like that. There is a only court which you can play basketball.

Faculty: Frankly, telling there are many faculty members, with enough knowledge at the same time there are many facilities which they don't have 70% knowledge also. All the courses are curriculum-relevant only. If student uses their opportunities they can ready for industry.

Other: I like mechanical because of to improve my practical knowledge I would like to tell to improve in high knowledgeable staffs There are not many events in srm ramapuram campus.
