IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final round of cutoffs for BTech course and its various specialisations. According to the JoSAA counselling process, a total of 6 rounds of cutoffs were released in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cutoff list was declared for students belonging to the All India quota.

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff fell between 667 in the first round and 10043 in the last round. Considering the last round cutoff ranks, the most in-demand BTech specialisation turned out to be BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the cutoff being 673 in the last round. As per the last round of IIT Hyderabad JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 for this category, the most popular BTech specialisation for admission came out as Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing rank of 673. On the other hand, the least popular branch, ie, the one with the highest qualifying rank, was Industrial Chemistry, with a rank of 10043. IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category

According to the JEE Advanced counselling cutoff for the last round, the closing ranks varied from 293 to 4107 for the OBC students belonging to the All India category. As per this range, the two most competitive specialisations were BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by BTech in Artificial Intelligence, with the qualifying ranks being 293 and 380, respectively. 

In contrast, for the last round, the two least competitive branches for IIT Hyderabad admissions were Biomedical Engineering, followed by Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, with the cutoff being 4107 and 4030, respectively. IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category

Compared to the OBC AI category, admissions were more competitive for this category for all the offered specialisations. The two most sought-after branches were Computer Science and Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.  IIT Hyderabad admissions to the CSE branch ranged from 179 in the first round to 198 in the last round. For the AI specialisation, the first and last round cutoffs were the same, at 222. IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025 For ST All India Category

For this category too, the most in-demand specialisation was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the first and last round cutoff ranks of 65 and 80, respectively. In comparison to the SC All India quota, competition for this branch is higher here.

Students who could not attain this rank can also opt for branches with slightly more relaxed cutoffs, like Artificial Intelligence or Mathematics and Computing. The Artificial Intelligence branch had a cutoff ranging from 80 to 83 in the first and last rounds. For the Mathematics and Computing first and last round ranks were 188 and 230, respectively. IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025 For EWS All India Category

According to the JEE Advanced cutoff 2025, the first and last round cutoff ranged from 93 to 1694 for the students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section category under the All India quota. As per both rounds, the easiest branch for enrolment was BTech in Industrial Chemistry, with the first and last round closing cutoff of 1694.

IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025 For PWD All India Category

According to the table below, the first and the last round cutoff ranks remained the same for this category, ranging from 17 to 166 across all BTech course specialisations. Computer Science and Engineering emerged as the most competitive branch with a cutoff of 17.  The Artificial Intelligence specialisation was slightly more accessible with a closing cutoff rank of 77.
