JEE Advanced is the national-level exam which is widely conducted by IITs to admit students for the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. To get into IIT Hyderabad through JoSAA counselling, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates should apply for JoSAA counselling only if they fulfill all the conditions of eligibility. However, many institutes admit students on the basis of JEE Main where there is no requirement of minimum marks in class 12.
IIT Hyderabad JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech courses. The cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff rank to secure a seat in CSE was 656. For the SC AI category, the closing cutoff rank for CSE was 182.

For the OBC category candidates, the JEE Advanced last-round cutoff 2024 varied between 302 and 4097, of which CSE was the most sought-after BTech specialisation. The first and last-round closing ranks for the same stood at 284 and 302, respectively. To be eligible for JEE Advanced candidates must fulfill certain criteria such as meeting the cutoff marks for JEE Advanced and satisfying the academic eligibility criteria.
